Had a schedule picked up 48 notice called and had no one setup for it call up crewing up the business if not pickup by the end of the day I going have to take it in to FedEx

Apparently 17 years driving experience. 9 of it local. 2 of it pulling doubles and all endorsements including the ability to go to Canada, clean dac/clearing house does not make me a good candidate.
Must be because I'm a female.
Edited* upon further investigation they have a 27% female employee base. Not just drivers but all positions. Which is actually one of the higher of the bigger ltl companies but I bet only about 8/10 of that total percentage are women drivers. Just enough to consider themselves equal opportunist.

Overall, this has been one of my best experiences with an Estes terminal. Jennifer Seneski went above and beyond to help me get an order recon signed that we mislabeled. She quickly responded and followed up even when her terminal was no longer involved in the shipment. We ship anywhere from 275 to 320 LTL shipments a month with Estes so having experiences such as this really reconfirms that we are using the correct carrier for our LTL freight. I got a call from Dan last week to set up delivery for today, Saturday, 6/15/24 from 8-10 am with a phone call to me 1/2 hour in advance. At 7:30 am the guy came (no phone call at all) and left my package on my porch along with the delivery bill. I had just got out of the shower and was getting dressed. He didn't even ring the doorbell or knock. My ring doorbell picked up the whole thing. I wanted him to carry it into my garage for me. But he did this instead. So nothing happened the way it was supposed to. Not happy about this delivery at all.

Estes is my preferred LTL carrier for all my customers' shipping needs.
From customer service, dispatch, drivers, managers or all other staff, Estes always go the extra mile if needed. Recently Jennifer Seneski, OS&D, Flint MI, helped with a re-consignment issue. She took care of everything expeditiously and efficiently. Thank you all at Estes!

They came out to pick up a shipment several times and denied it even after accepting it over the phone. Several hours wasted and also came hours after the time the scheduled. The lady i spoke with on the phone, maybe the dispatcher, was very unprofessional! I should charge them for a days wage as that is the amount of time total we missed at work waiting, and still, a shipment was not made. Call a different shipping company!

Delivery was running late. Supposed to be delivered on Wednesday. Received a call to set up delivery on Thursday. Was told they only deliver to my area on Thursdays so I have to wait another week.

I was having a difficult time with a company that was supposed to honor and arrange a return for an item I had purchased. Jennifer helped me through the process (which the company I was dealing with could/would not follow simple instructions given to them). With Jennifer's help, the package was secured and safely on its way back to where it needs to go. Kudos also to the driver who picked up the package and kept me posted on his progress. Thank you for going above and beyond and reducing the stress I was feeling.

The shipper called the day before to set up delivery. The driver was very helpful and was courteous. Delivery was scheduled between 7 and 11 am, the driver was at my house at 7:15.

They said Order will be delivered Monday(no show)
Call it will be at terminal in Flint tomorrow 8 am
I call at 7 am and they say they try get it off truck come 8:30 am
I go there 8:45, not ready. Sit in parking lot 2 hours. Still not ready

I only have experience with the Flint MI terminal: The dispatch team is super helpful and accommodating. Drivers are courteous and friendly.
