Google directed me here for a money order walk in and bro says no cash app deposits three separate times after I said money order several times. Treated me like I was illiterate for pointing out how their different. I didn't get a name unfortunately but you'd recognize the character.

I have ALWAYS had great experiences here in the last year UNTIL tonight….
I enjoy shopping here because it’s always clean and well maintained and the workers are usually pretty respectable towards everyone!
Tonight I was so disappointed and now will not be returning to the store again.
I was limited on my spending limit. I knew I had enough money but I had card payment and also cash as part. No big deal usually. The cashier was pleasant at first. Then when things became complicated she started being kind of rude and like I was a bother to be there. I checked my funds and verified that I had the amount. I ran my card for a certain amount went through just fine. Then the total left came to be 21$ I had a 20. I searched and searched my purse and for my other debit card to be able to get her the 1$. A very nice regular customer behind me said he would pay the 1$ for me. And she started making a big deal.
I told her I was sorry and that I would look in my vehicle to see if I had the change or just anything to get it back to make it right. So I did just that. I went out to my vehicle and looked for change and even made a call for a relative to send me a few dollars so I could make it even with the store and not feel so bad. I was waiting patiently in line behind customers to AGAIN TRY TO PAY THE 1$ to the cashier to make things right. And she started talking negatively and disrespectfully on me as a customer. I then made sure she knew I was standing there in line and made a comment of you feel the need to talk negatively about a customer who actually went outside and was able to get the difference and was waiting to get it to you and say that I pissed you off and I shouldn’t have got what I couldn’t afford. When that wasn’t the case. I had the money see. But my other debit card was left in my other vehicle when I last minute had to run to the store. Life happens. Any case she then tells me there’s no way she can fix the mistake and started saying I should have just made sure I had everything accounted for when I was at the counter. I then walked out as I’m disappointed and infuriated that she could be that disrespectful. I commented as walking out it was RUDE AND DISRESPECTFUL FOR HER TO TALK ANOUT A CUSTOMER, WHO 1. Was trying to come back and make things right. 2. Was right in front of you. 3. Was not rude to her in anyway for her to gossip to other customers after she thought I had left the store.
I’m truly disappointed in my encounter tonight and I will be shopping elsewhere now. There was no need for the cashier to talk badly about a person who was honest and trying to be polite to again lay her balance that she felt badly about when she left.
I hope your employees don’t treat every customer like this. Because if so then you’ll lose business in no time.
Truly cannot even process the rudeness of it tonight.
Put your self in that persons shoes and imagine how badly you have made them feel from your poor customer service.
Kindly and respectfully have a good night.
Hopefully your employees will learn how to respect customers.

If you need it, they probably won't have it. I was told the CANNOT accept child support payment to the STATE OF MICHIGAN. just them. They sell all sorts of gift cards, prepaid cards. They cannot load.

They suck No bags in the whole store so sad ? if I was in any other store location I bet they got bags! This is how they do all flint locations they are never organized or shelves not stocked stuff just everywhere. We like to spend our money in decent locations as well!!! Come on now flint dollar general must do better!!!!

This location is horrible at updating pricing. Many of the shelves hold outdated prices, as the staff doesn't bother to replace the pricing strips, nor stage the product according to schematic. Additionally, not a single seasonal item includes a price (unless it was printed as a part of the box art).
When asking to have the cashier (Allisia?) to check a price, she very audible let out an annoyed sigh for having to walk 5 feet to get the scanner. I made the mistake of asking the price of a second seasonal item which resulted in an even louder sigh, eye roll and an angry, "just give it here!", outburst as she ripped the item out of my hands.
After buying both items, she tossed the receipt at me and stormed off to the backroom, despite having another customer approaching the counter behind me.
The store is dirty, disorganized, and unwelcoming due to it's extremely rude staff. It's amazing people stop here in the first place instead of going to the Family Dollar nearby, because from the road it nearly looks like just another abandoned building among the many in Flint. Dirty, damaged parking lot, surrounded on 4 sides by a 3 foot high wall of grass and weeds.
Despite the condition of the store, I would happily return if the staff were welcoming in any way. The manager was friendly upon entering, but the cashier made it very clear that she was not happy to be there and the very task of assisting a customer with the price of an item (that they have failed to provide otherwise) was the tipping point that pissed her off. And she was going to let me know it.

If you don't like to Have a conversation with the worker Or don't want to feel like family They don't make the prices these are corporate's prices take it up with corporate go somewhere else these is not a store for you . Don't break these individual spirits because you're unhappy.

this place was like the most dirtiest Dollar Store and ran down I've ever seen and experienced. All the products was on the floor and not even on the shelves it was like someone went thru and took thier arm and ran it down the aisle knocking everything off the shelves onto the floor. You literally had to walk thru all the stuff on the floor it was so disappointing and dirty and I just couldn't believe what I was seeing never seen any Dollar Store like this before! Someone from corporate needs to send someone to this store to get it cleaned up and maybe even give it a makeover and clean it up all nice and get it back in order! I think it's in a convenient place and nice to have at this location because it help save us on a few things he had forgotten to bring for the beach on Memorial Day! Someone just needs to come and clean it up and get it back in shape and in order !!!
