Got to the airport at 6:30 they were closed. Nobody cared. I don't live here. I'm here for my mom's funeral. Nobody cares that I don't have a car. Never again with a stupid company. The customer service keeps saying, that's out of our scope, that's out of our scope. Grrrrrr

Will never rent from Dollar again! It wasn't the FNT location but the DEN location. Was asked (and declined) if we wanted the gas option, and toll option ended up with an additional $500 insurance charge that was never discussed, or it would have also been declined. Was told to sign the pin pad by the employee but was never told about the additional charge. Was told our credit card was needed for the deposit since it was pre-paid.

You guys are a horrible company you have hidden fees and upcharges and are not very helpful. Thank you for leaving my daughter her boyfriend grandson and 2 month old grand daughter high and dry. You change your name to 2 cent car rental. Great job on making a happy occasion a stressful messy start.

Was at the Orlando Airport. Signed on the line for one amount, ended up paying double, with claims that I agreed to it. They will send you 2 different agreements. The one you actually signed for and then an “adjusted” one simultaneously. And when you call or email with questions about it, they just say “well you signed for it” even tho you signed for a different amount. Very poor company to work with. Wouldn’t recommend to anybody

Reserved a car at FNT, after flight landed, went to Dollar rental counter at airport at 8:30pm, no one there, gone for evening. Sign said see Hertz, no one there either. Another 2 parties were in panic also. Had to rent from Avis, an extra $120. Felt lucky to get a car. No Dollar car but was charged by Hertz! Seems like Dollar and Hertz use the same A..hole customer service company. Same music, etc. Tried to get money back many times but recording said wait time is over 60 minutes. BEWARE of Dollar & Hertz!!

Reserved a van online and come to find out they didn't have anything available when I got there! They also only accept major credit cards which I prefer not to use they allowed me to prepay for insurance with my debit card but then tell you they wont accept them for renting a vehicle. This is 2020 not 1998 I expect that if you don't have the vehicle requested then DON'T allow the customer reserve one!!! Totally dissatisfied with the horrible experience thanks alot for screwing up my vacation plans!

Had a reservation for a car at 11:00 am, they said it would be about 2 hours before one was available. 3hrs later they called and said it was ready

Reserved a car several days in advance for pick up on 12/29 at 2:00pm. Got there at 1:40 and was told that no cars were available and that I was seventh in line. They hoped to get me into a car within a couple of hours. Had a family dinner in PA that I had to make by 8:00pm. Finally got a car at 5:20 and rolled into PA an hour after everyone had left. How do you maintain a car rental business when you don't have cars for people who have made reservations? Got the following from the district manager: Thank you for taking the time to tell us about your experience. On behalf of Dollar, I sincerely apologize for the inconvenience you experienced due to your vehicle not being ready [Insert Personal Message] If I can provide any further assistance, please don't hesitate to contact me directly by replying to this email. It actually says in the email, [Insert Personal Message] Emailed the District Manager's supervisor also with no response. Reminds me of the Seinfeld episode where they know how to "take the reservation" they just don't know how to "hold the reservation". Even Jerry got a car on time, just not the one he reserved.

Still waiting for the a vehicle after waiting over two hours. After an hour and half I was offered a 4 door truck when I asked for Standard SUV listed as Jeep Grand Cherokee. Considering that I'm driving to Florida, a truck is not good on gas and they offered no discount. Waiting to see next offer. Received next offer at 2:10... Jeep Cherokee or Chevy Equinox... Since when is a compact SUV the same as Jeep Grand Cherokee... Lol..... final offer was Chevy Equinox and a 45 credit towards my next rental. Seriously defeated and not happy.
