I don't know why others are so negative about Financial Plus Credit Union. I have never had a problem with them. I live in Central Florida now that I moved here in 2009. I do most of my banking via computer, rarely telephone. They have served me well over the years. Always friendly staff. Last year, while on vacation near Flint, I lost my wallet. 1st time that I can remember. I called them, and with no ID whatsoever, they told me to come in. I did, it took me less than 20 minutes to get a working debit card. I was also scammed at least twice in the last 18 months....on my debit card. They took care of it over the phone. I had to wait about 4 days to get a new card, but that was a minor inconvenience. I love Financial Plus!

Why would you hold my check for several days because of a holiday instead of just clearing it?? 15 years a credit union member, same income for years and it’s wired over!!?? BECAUSE YOUR MEMBERS DONT MATTER TO YOU!!!

Very seriously considering taking my business elsewhere. I have experienced the same teller at 2 locations, Lapeer Rd and Van Slyke Rd, and have been given a hard time by her twice. The first time, I was trying to deposit $15 cash. She asked me if I was trying to deposit 1500 because she wasn't sure what the deposit slip said, and told me that I don't look like my ID. It's a cash deposit, how is there any question at all about how much I'm trying to deposit ? Exactly the $15 in cash I sent through the drive through!The second time, I was depositing a check. Again, I was told that she didn't think that I look like my ID. There was a hold placed on the check, which isn't an issue. The being hassled about whether or not I look like my ID IS.Is this the photo from my DL that is being used? If so, I look nearly identical to it. If not, is it a photo that your institution has on file from somewhere else, and where?I've been a customer here for something like 10 years and haven't ever had a problem. That one teller has me frustrated enough to take my business elsewhere is very disappointing

WARNING. The RUDEST, most INCONSIDERATE, most STUCK-UP bank ever. FPCU blames the customer for EVERYTHING all while making profit of your money. Fees for Everything. ZERO help Multiple problems with online banking. Customer service USELESS. CHAT USELESS. Avoid Financial Plus Credit Union

I've been here for over 16 years and I feel I have a good grasp on the quality of their service at this point; I'm unable to recommend them. Employees can be pleasant, but are unable to be helpful due to the limited banking services. One would be better served at a larger institution.

Horrible representativies to handle calls, which take 15+ min to get on the phone, another 20min to speak to manager, no information for newly merged members who can't log into app it pay their visa

I’ve had the very unfortunate experience of financing with this company. If a dealership offers you financial plus -RUN!!! Do not do business with this company! They’re extremely hard to get a hold of and VERY rude to their customers.

Don't bother calling to get a simple service like reordering checks done unless you plan to jump through standard hoops and then join the circus for 20 more random questions after you should have been verified as the account holder but nope....customer service at van slyke road always sucks SO try another bank

The main branch is not open on Saturday, when every other credit union and bank is. Very inconvenient.
