To be honest the store itself is great but 3 ⭐'s for the absolute rude controlling manager that almost lost a sale for her abusive ways. She doesn't belong in management she needs shipped elsewhere besides that like said the store itself has things in it that you can't find

Great place to go if you like hearing the carts screech the whole time. The roll around “baskets” need to have the wheels removed or replaced.

I don’t like to leave bad reviews at all but today. The store is ok until I get to check out. I let the cashier check me out like she usually does. She didn't tell me if I had to pay by card and there's no signs tell me that I can’t pay cash, also I've been paying cash without any trouble. After finished scanning my stuff she walked away as I was trying to find where to put my cash in. So I assumed I'd need to give her my cash, I looked at her and showed her my cash like I needed help while she was checking out someone else. Then she walked past me and said just put the card in, it's not that hard to understand or read! Being old doesn't mean you have to be rude or disrespectful. I won’t be coming back to this store.

No one was around at the moment so I assumed I scanned my own items as it has self check out machines, scanned my first item and the lady said oh I’ll scan you out , told her my apologies as I didn’t know she said well there a sign right there ! I also had to give her the money to put in the machine and she gave me my change back. Why do we have self check outs if I have to wait for someone to check me out ? It just made it seem like I was gonna steal or they’ve had a lot of people stealing and that’s why its like that now. Either way I definitely feel this area could use work considering there nine self check outs and only one maybe two employees in the store…with only one self check out open at the time.

The whole store is fine.. Until you get to checkout. There's a winding of shelves that leads to 9 registers. There's been up to 2 people working them, which is okay I guess, but the fact that they're there TO CHECK YOU OUT makes no sense whatsoever. If you don't trust me to do my own shopping don't add a self checkout, and definitely don't add 9 of them for 6 or 7 of them to always be closed, and a fully in person register that's never used. I can only imagine what black Friday and Christmas deals will be like there with a horrible arrangement like this.

The elder white lady at the counter was being very rude. She was being ignored and instead of moving on she kept pressing the issue and bullying PAYING customers!!!!!! She was gossiping about other customers right in front of us … does she have no home training ? AND she tripped my Grandma when she was trying to leave.... Absolutely no decorum, how did she get hired??? DEFINITELY won’t be taking my grandma and 6 kids here ever again. But if she’s gone maybe I’ll think about coming back. #YouLostALoyalCustomer

Five below is often very convenient in regard to finding something I need, however, I witnessed an extremely distasteful and disturbing interaction between a cashier and a customer yesterday. There was a woman with her two children using the cashier to check out and another woman by herself with one or two items using the self check out. While the young woman was checking out the cashier was making disrespectful and repetitive remarks to the woman in front of and to the lady with the kids she was checking out. The individual at self check out tried to pay no mind but the cashier (an older white woman) was persistent in her attempts to try and get a reaction out of this woman. It just felt very unprofessional and ill motivated… I wouldn’t feel welcome coming back into that store after the interaction I witnessed.

I used to love coming in this store and shopping. I now "like" the store but there "Self check out" isn't a self check out. An older white woman told me she had to check me out and grabbed the things out of my hand roughly as i walked up to a "self checkout". This was after I saw someone else checking out by them selves. I like self check out due to this reason of not having to deal with rude store associates. I most likely won't be going back.
