This is a great little museum if you're in the Flint area, especially if you have younger children (maybe ages 2 to 6).Pros: This museum has lots of hands-on on, accessible activities. We've been a few times when visiting family in the area and my son (age 4) always finds something to do. His favorite area tends to be the little town play area, which has a kid's size fire truck, post office, grocery store and restaurant. There are also areas for reading, science-oriented exhibits and other hands-on learning experiences. During the summer they also have a fun outdoor area for kids to try additional activities such as water rocket launches. The staff is also very nice and prices are reasonable. Tip: if you live in the area and plan to go more than twice a year, definitely get the family membership. Cons: it's on the smaller side and could be a little less exciting for older children. Bottom line: Definitely a bright spot in the Flint area. A great place to spend a couple of hours, young children will definitely be occupied.

Wonderful little gem in Flint. My granddaughter just loved it here so much she didn't want to leave. There are so many interesting things to see and do that you may not get to everything in one visit. There were alot of fun activities outside as well. I am not sure if the outdoor activities continue in the winter or not though there is plenty to do inside. I even saw some older kids having fun even though the games and activities are geared toward toddler ages primarily. I would say kids from toddler to age 8 or 9 would like it best. Sorry I couldn't post more pictures but all of them except 2 had her in the picture. Also an added bonus was entrance was half off for grandparents bringing their grandchildren for the month of September.

Very nice place for children to play. The sand box at the entrance is very nicely designed. The Australian Safari, Performance Stage, and the little town with a supermarket, restaurants, etc. are a lot of fun for kids who enjoy pretend play. The only display that I was not that satisfied with was the music room. The instruments don't make good sounds.

It was fun for my 3-year-old. She enjoyed all of the different activities. The reason it gets 4 is for the bathrooms not being kept up. We were the first ones there, and the paper towel and soap were not filled.

Took my Class on a feild trip here, they were very accommodating and even made a schedule for my class, I gave 4 starts only because it's really for the little ones the older kids in my class didn't have as much to do.

Quite a remarkable place with lots of fun activities for kids. From science to sensory to fiction, this place offers great experience for children. There is no food for sale but they have a designated eating area if you get food from outside. Plus, the outdoor play area closes about an hour early than the museum hours. Tickets can be purchased on spot and they have discounts for members, EBT holders and some other categories. Overall a wonderful experience!

Took Mt granddaughter and great-grandson. The museum has many fun and educational exhibits and activities - some of our favorites were the golf ball vortex, bottle rockets, drawing a pi ture and have it come in the big window, and the big foam blocks. Thank you for this wonderful experience.

An absolute gem! Highly recommemd! Check their website for special deals. I would suggest getting there right when they open. The crowds are smaller and the toys are all set up as intended.

We have a family pass for this amazing gem in Flint. There are a few things that remain from talking my sons to this place. My granddaughters are ages 3 and a half and almost two and they love to come here. They have their favorite things, but also find something new all the time. The hardest part is getting them to leave!

My school district (Shiwassee RESD) came here for a school field trip in May. We have a large population of students with special needs and this museum was perfect for our students. All areas of the museum were accessable. There was something there that interested all of our students in one way or another. The centers were creative, innovative and FUN. The bathrooms were clean and spacious enough for us to change diapers in. We were able to pack lunches and eat in one of the classrooms. We hope to return here in the future. Thank you for being so kind, helpful and welcoming to our group!

Great place to take the little ones. There is a lot to do packed into a somewhat smaller museum. Worth the price of admission for sure. I recommend getting a membership so you can take the kids often as they will want to go often. My little ones never want to leave once they get playing. We go at least 3-4 times a month about once a week sometimes more often.

The cost for admission is reasonable for a museum of its size. My daughter seemed to enjoy herself and made multiple trips around the museum. Staff is also very friendly.
