Goodwill Mid-Michigan Outlet is a unique thrift store that sells items by weight. It is made up of large tables and bins where items are thrown, creating an unorganized and mucky environment that requires disposable or gardening gloves. The experience is described as a treasure hunt, rummaging through a mess to find gems among what can seem like mostly junk. Items are not organized, though there is some sorting by type, such as shoes or blankets. Shoppers can find a wide variety, including vintage trinkets, authentic bags, home decor, craft supplies, children's toys, books, throw rugs, pillows, and furniture. Clothing is not recommended. The prices cannot be beat, with most items priced per pound and furniture individually priced at very low costs. The staff are noted as friendly. The atmosphere is chaotic, with some customers finding the disorder frustrating, while others enjoy the fun experience and great deals.

I love this store! I try and stop whenever I’m in town. Wear gardening gloves and get ready to rummage through treasures. I always find vintage trinkets and the bins are FULL of amazing toys — Little People, Imaginext, Barbie, etc. Would recommend!

I love coming here - there are strict rules here - and as you get used to the bins you’ll get used to how it’s run - but the employees are super nice & friendly - lots of Gold to be found here
