Service counter closed at 8 pm, was told to COME BACK TOMORROW for a scan error. Believe me, if I come back, it won't be to this store. Too many other choices. SERVICE YOUR CUSTOMERS!!!

Meijer has fallen from its once high standing in Michigan communities. Many store are being allowed to deteriorate. They’re quite picky on where they choose to invest their money in their stores. seems reasonable to say that they neglect the stores that are in poor areas of Michigan. They’ve also put locks on their cart wheels in one location that I am aware of ….this is unfortunate as it makes the carts nearly impossible to push through the store all in an effort to curve the shoplifting. I suppose I don’t believe that is the answer. I grew up at a time that my employees were very hospitable and you couldn’t walk by an employee without them saying good morning/Good afternoon…Can I help you —-not anymore. Many of them have earbuds in their ears. Many are rude. It often feels as if they’re trying to avoid the customers and trying to not engage. The self checkouts….Well, if you’ve been there you know what wonderful machines they are and how good they make you feel at the end. I probably shouldn’t bring up how rude the self checkout clerks often are. I’m sure they get all kinds of grief having to deal with the subpar machines….. if you care even any itsy-bitsy little bit, you would hire cashiers and baggers—-get rid of the self-checkout…. Walk groceries to the cars. Step up and make a real effort! It wasn’t that long ago when Meijer had good customer service. There has to be one person at corporate Meijer that remembers. Do better.

The Meijer's on Hill Road needs better management. I usually go to the one in Swartz Creek, and it pains me to go to the Hill Road Meijer. Due to its lack of products, they always seem to be out of everything! Empty shelves and try to find somebody to help you? It's impossible!

Good store, poor experience due to only a couple registers open and only half self checkout open. I mean, come on. Get it together 25 minutes in line is ludicrous!

Food choices were wonderful. Needed more lanes open. Waited in line more than 15 minutes to begin check out process.

I've always enjoyed Meijer over walmart or Kroger, I find better deals, tastier brands, and helpful staff, not to mention the point value towards gas. It's where my family prefers to shop and fill up.

I wanted some tenders while they had multiple workers but decided not to help me and just stand around while one worker helps people

This meijers is so outdated, would not be surprised if it's the only Meijer in state that has never been remodeled, it's that bad. Staff is great, their app and website is also outdated and needs to be updated. Prices vary you can get good deals on sale but regular price not so good!

if i could give it 0 stars i would. the deli has the laziest most disrespectful workers I've ever encountered in my life. always have a problem making fresh food and will say they don't have any in the fryer as an excuse not to drop fresh wings or tenders. its 1pm and i chose meijer for lunch and walked out empty handed because of their laziness. there is one person that does there job back there and its the tall African American man. he's great at his job everyone else needs to be fired. mind you this has happened more time then i can count its ridiculous.

Great selection of food/health/beauty items. I always find what I need in office, craft, and home goods compared to local stores. One of my go-to places for toys and kids’ items. However, I hate the giant serpentine self-checkout! It’s the pits, so I avoid coming here often for that reason. Never enough human clerks, but I have always received kind and respectful help. The customer service desk here is great.
