They are charging more than retail for items they got for free. This is disgusting.

Some of the prices were crazy.. small no name microwave with a lot of use on it for 40 bucks?! That is wild.
Also so hot and stuffy in there. I left before I saw everything I wanted to check out because it was so uncomfortable.
*Edit after salvation army response:
This is an item that you got for FREE donated by people that were thinking they were helping people in need. I am currently very broke and so is my microwave. You are selling this for at least 50% or more than its original value.. despite it being old and used.
Could get a better value off Amazon.
Save your explanations about how much you help people in need in our communities. Your stores price out people in need. Anyone higher up in this organization then the people that work the floors know nothing about that though. I'm sure they all make a comfortable living.

Disappointed that the donation area was closed. It looks like it hasn't been open in a while due to the piles of donations outside the door. I found several clothing items in my size and at a good price but the clothing racks were a mess. Nothing sorted by size and/or color as I have seen at other thrift stores.

I look around for the fun of it (never know what you'll find), but the pricing at this store is beyond ridiculous. Clothing is generally fine, but anything else, watch out! $50 for a cheap exercise bike with a broken monitor... $100 for a crt monitor that couldn't be properly tested, $20 for a heavily-used hedge trimmer that would cost $20-$30 new. No returns (unlike goodwill), so these high prices are a massive gamble. If you can't back up the goods with a return promise, at least offer cheap pricing.
I donate goods frequently, but this location CONSTANTLY has their donation door closed and unmanned even during posted hours. After a week of trying, I gave up and started going to the goodwill by the mall... Their donation door is open 2 hours later and not once have they failed to eventually answer. The few times this SA store took my goods, it was mostly without any words or expressions, and it made me feel like they were doing ME a favor by taking away my stuff to resell.
I'm glad that places like this exist, but both the buying AND donation experience at this location are terribly flawed.

Your thrift store prices are becoming unaffordable. It's important to remember that people rely on these stores for affordable items. I suggest reevaluating your pricing and comparing it to other thrift stores rather than retail outlets. It's crucial to provide fair prices for the community.

I can’t say anything without giving a star the only thing I got to say is that your customer service sucks trying to get hold of someone u get hung up on twice call back they pick up and then hang up call a third time get them to pick up and then no saying hello just put u on hold definitely disappointed they have people working that don’t know how to answer a phone

Workers who are supposed to help with receiving donations are rude as hell! 3 people just standing around, looking up values of items dropped off on their phones & chatting amongst themselves. No acknowledgement of customers who are making donations, instead treating them like an interruption & inconvenience. I don’t expect them to roll out a welcome mat, but at least show some effort, at the very least say hello and thank you! 0 Stars!!

The only positive thing about this place is the size, that’s about where the positives stop. How could one store have so much stuff and yet so little? I feel like I need to wash my hands and bathe in GermX whenever I leave this place. It smells musty as soon as you walk in. While there are some gems here and there, they are not easy to find and you have to really look through every single item on the rack to find them. I’ve left with maybe one or two items each time I visit despite searching the entire store high and low ready to spend upwards of $40 on stuff. The furniture and kitchen ware isn’t even worth it, just pay the extra few dollars at Walmart. A dusty couch that someone probably p!seed on isn’t worth saving a few extra bucks. A lot of the stuff is overpriced junk, this place is turning into Bargain Hunters on Dort Hwy…shop at the goodwill on miller rd instead. The prices might be higher, but it’s a better bet to find something good that doesn’t reek of smokers roach infested home. The goodwill store on Miller is MUCH cleaner, too.

The man working in the back at the donation drop off did not hide that he was completely uninterested in collecting my donations and was not at all pleasant to deal with. I was made to feel like more of a burden than doing a good deed! I will donate elsewhere from now on!

The Director of Operations, is a incompetent whiny overreactive excuse of a man. He consistently raises prices on all product in the stores when sales are not met. Also blames others for his own foolish decisions that he makes, like freaking the hell out over nothing and then removing all of the donation boxes out of all the stores. At this store, every other day after business hours now i see homeless people stealing the stuff that is no longer being secure now, or the rain and snow ruins it. Very sad to see this store and the others being run into the ground because of this dope. Wont ever go here again, the merchandise is the same as you would pay full price at walmart.
