Horrible!!! If no stars was an option that's what I would give. I rented a car Mon-Thursday, returned a day early and didn't ask for any type of refund. Received an email that I was charged $400.00 fee for smoking and I don't even smoke. When I called customer service I was told they found ashes, I explained I rented the car while traveling to pick up my brothers ashes from being cremated and some ashes came out when I opened the box. I asked for a supervisor and it took 5 days to get a call back and I was told no refund would be made...horrible customer service, will never rent from them again!!!!

I would happily give them 0 stars. They were super rude to me. I made a reservation to pick up the car at 6:00 pm. There was time to make reservations after that til midnight. I almost made it at 6:30 pm so I was sure to make it in time. I arrived at 6:10. They had closed and were leaving for the night. You think that would have been IMPORTANT information to let someone know that it closed at 6:00 when I made the reservation!!! They said I should have been here 10 minutes earlier and walked away from me. Good thing I hadn't come in on a plane or I would have been stranded. I will never use Thrifty again.

We arrived in Orlando airport to an extremely long line which is no fault of the workers but the amount of workers working was ridiculous. Extremely short staffed and they did not seem to know what they were doing. The line moved at a turtle’s pace. The agents kept leaving their station which was annoying considering the long wait times. They may be cheaper but I will not make this mistake again.

RENTER BEWARE. After waiting for 3.5 hours in the Orlando airport to pick up our car that we reserved 2 months in advance we were billed $250 more than what we reserved our car for. Customer service refused to refund or make an adjustment because “the contract was already signed”. Absolutely do not recommend using this company. If you do, expect to pay much more than what your confirmation email states you will be paying.At the airport, out of the 10 available computer stations there were only 2 employees working. Horrible experience.

#SHIFTYthriftyWould give them a 0 if that were an option. Arrived to pick up our car from the airport (which was already paid in full) and had to wait over 2 hours because they were understaffed and oversold. Not to mention the staff moves at a snails pace. No consideration! Absolutely the worst experience ever after just arriving for your vacation. Not even worth the savings. If your time is valuable then this is not the place for you. The line should never be longer than the flight. Absolutely ridiculous!!Then... our fees magically doubled. Never again. What a joke. Lost several future costumers.Thanks for nothing Shifty!

I recently rented a car in Florida, and I was NOT told about options for paying tolls. For less than $10 in tolls, they sent me a bill for $70 in administration fees. I consider this to be unsavory and shady. I wrote them asking for them to reconsider, but no one could be bothered to reply. I will NEVER again use Thrifty, and I encourage others to think twice. There are no savings in the end.

do not rent from them or dollar rent a car. booked online and when i got there they said they do not have the car. they said you can rent another kind and they charged my card an extra $390. not nice to scam people.
