How do we get our pets records? I have been calling for the past week it has been saying invalid phone number I need to get my dog's records so I can take her to a new vet she is on daily meds and monthly shots so this is kind of like an emergency that I find out how to get her records.

They don't make house calls and haven't for 3 years. Need to change the name cause that's confusing.
And upon reading further reviews, even though I've never been here, I don't think I'd recommend anyway it as many mention abuse toward animals.

Didn't return urgent calls when our dog is on her death bed. Is retiring and has checked out, is not reliable. Closes his office without notice or explanation and has no compassion.

Dr. Mike Merrithew should absolutely be fired from here. He is abusive towards the animals, hits them, yells at them, grabs them aggressively when they don't behave, and it is ABSOLUTELY unacceptable. Disgusting behavior from this so called "doctor." Mike, how would you feel if someone yelled, screamed, hit, and grabbed your daughter the way you do to these animals? Don't ever come here if you love your animals because HE WILL HURT THEM! He only does good when the animal doesn't act like an animal, moving around, making noise, getting anxious because duh, the vet, and etc. Don't bring your pets here if you care about them.

I have heard the most horrific stories about this monster who calls himself a doctor. I am beyond thankful, and he should be too, that I never took my beloved cat there. Why he is still in business and not in prison is beyond me!

I have 3 furbabies i was supposed to bring in for well checks. Fortunately several people have told me how the Dr hit, grabbed and was abusive to their pets. Glad I dodged a bullet. Too many details to write. But Beware these are facts and I'm not one to bash businesses but I felt compelled. So sad especially for anxious, helpless animals

The vet is abusive towards my animals and others!!

Vet is an animal abuser in front of patients (Imagine what happens behind the scenes) and needs to take accountability for his actions and lose his license.

If I could give less that one stars, I would. This place needs to be condemned. People, please speak out. DR MIKE! You beat a cat in front of its owners. You remember Penny the back cat? He has been sick for months and his owners have trusted you with their animals and their money since the start. This practice is know to abuse animals. Instead of admitting he was caught he ran into his office. Please do not bring your fur babies here. Please save. Please revoke Dr. Mike’s license. The Better Business Bureau and Veterinary Licensing Commission for your county that you work out of are aware and investigating

I'm not one to leave reviews, but this visit was so terrible that I felt I needed to share my experience. This veterinarian was recommended by a friend, as I had just moved to the area. I have a 15 year old cat, who requires monthly vet visits and blood draws. Throughout the examination, it was evident that the vet lacked compassion. They handled my pet roughly, causing unnecessary distress, and were simply going through the motions without any genuine concern for my pet's well-being. If I could give 0 stars, I would. Customer service was subpar. Will not be going back and I advise you take your pet elsewhere if you're looking for quality care.

Many years ago, he saved the life of our pet, Isacc. 2x!! I DO NOT-- know, where we would have been, w/out Dr. Merrithew! I loved him, as our Vet! He was so tender, gentle, & loving w Isacc. We REALLY, appreciated that! He was really, fantastic, with me- as well! As years have gone by, & I have moved out of state, out west-- I ALWAYS, have fondly thought of Dr. Merrithew and how he saved "my boy", & how he had de- stressed me, as well, during those difficult times. Isacc, lasted until, 17 1/2 years old. Now, my Daughter Jesicah lives in the Burton area & will be searching out Dr. Merrithew's assistance w HER- pet He's so wonderful
