Went to Beacon and Bridge in downtown Flushing to buy lottery tickets
Cashier asked for my driver license
I asked why
The manager told me that she can't trust her employee to put in the birthday so they need to scan my driver license
I said it sounds like you need new employee and I will never be back

I wish I could give it a zero. I went in here this morning July 18th 2025 at like 7 15 am to get a coffee. They had two trucks in the lot vendor trucks, apon going into the store the manager was trashing the very nice cashier in front of customers for having more then one vendor in the store at once you sell multiple brands you mean to tell me you only allow one at a time that’s craziness but to talk to her in such a way in front of customers is not right I mean just talking to her like she was nothing. How sad is that the women behind the counter is very nice respectful and always has a smile on her face. The older lady who is the manager is a mean spirited person I’m sorry but you lady do not need to work customer service you are rude and hateful and treat your employees like dirt. To the cashier I’m sorry you deal with that mess I hope you know your worth much more then that and I hope you see that there are way better places to work who will treat you how you deserve to be treated. I will be contacting corporate to file a formal complaint about the nasty manager there.

Is it laziness?
It has been over a year that no employee can not or will not refill the fuel pump receip dispensers.
It must be laziness because when I walk into the store, more than one employee is just setting, not cleaning, organizing, or refilling anything. But they can be on their phones!
Maybe the district manager should have a come to Jesus meeting.

I used to go here to get gas, it was one of the few places that didn't try to screw over prople that need premium. However, a new remodel of the store, and low and behold they jack the price of premium up 40 cents! Nice store, but I can go anywhere and get screwed on the price of premium, especially when prices are now usually cheaper across the street. Goodbye B&B!
