This store has become too busy to just drop in and pick up a few items. The worst thing about this store is the fishy smell from the 'fresh' fish counter. Every time...yes every time I go into this store the first thing to hit me is that stinky fish smell. I have mentioned it to multiple management personnel but it NEVER changes. HINT: Kroger, if it stinks, it isn't fresh. I go to other grocery stores and NONE of them stink like this store. Take the clue and never buy fresh fish from this store. Better to drive the extra few miles to get a clean, non-smelly shopping experience than to put up with spoiled fish....if the employees can't smell it, I wonder just how much of the rest of their 'fresh' meats are NOT fresh.

Compared to other local Kroger's, this specific one is by far the best. It has its faults every once and a while, but the staff overwhelmingly comes to the aid of shoppers in need. Truth be told, I live close to 2 other Kroger's, and I make the trip out to Flushing every week to get my Groceries here. It's well worth it! It's selection is quite good and also has Scan, Bag, and Go, which is convenient as well.

Don't have your prescriptions sent to this pharmacy. The people in the pharmacy are not nice. I called to make sure my prescriptions were able to be refilled and the lady told me in a rude tone "they're ready." And hung up without any response from me.

My family decided to purchase one of this store's prepared deli meals for Christmas since my mother is elderly and cannot cook a full dinner the way that she used to do. We purchased the Prime Rib prepared meal which came with the Prime Rib, two sides (we chose stuffing and the green bean casserole); rolls and a pie. This cost $80.00. I picked up the meal on Christmas Eve and it was presented in a large brown box which was fairly heavy and so I thought everything was okay. When we got to the dinner and opened the box, imagine our dismay to find that the prepared meal consisted of two 'Home Chef' kits: One for the stuffing and one for the green bean casserole; a slab of Prime Rib direct from the meat department (not cooked); a package of uncooked rolls from the bread department and a deli pumpkin pie. It gets worse! When we opened the kit for the stuffing it literally contained a plain loaf of white bread, a ketchup packet sized packet of seasoning, a small plastic container of herbs and a few pats of butter. How can one realistically prepare stuffing out of this?!? We needed to add two cans of chicken broth, our own seasonings and two eggs to make this look anything like the picture on the box, and then we had to assemble and cook it ourselves. The green bean casserole was worse. That kit contained a large bag of raw green beans from produce (with stems attached, we had to remove them manually,) a sandwich sized bag of RAW sliced mushrooms, two envelopes of Parmesan cheese and a tiny yogurt sized container of cream. Really?!? That is NOT going to work to make a complete green bean casserole. We had to add two cans of cream of mushroom soup in order to make this look anything like the picture. In short, when you buy a prepared meal, you expect a prepared meal. Not a box of overpriced, incomplete groceries and a few Fischer-Price recipe cards that you're expected to make into a meal yourself. This is a total rip-off and I don't urge anyone to fall for it!
