Had an issue with my light hook up was about 4hrs from home pulled up told them my issue they went right to work. 30 bucks 25mins on the road safely couldn't have been any better highly recommend.

Pontoon would not start last Saturday, “bring it in before we close, we’ll fit it in.” July 5 repaired and advised other tune up repairs needed. Great techs, detailed, great value price….will continue to get my boat repair business ???

If you want your boat delivered on the week you asked and paid for, don't use this place. They not only would NEVER call me back with an update on when our boat was going to be delivered, they would answer and just act aloof to any questions. I was more frustrated that they never communicated with us to let us know they were almost 4 weeks behind schedule for getting all of the boats they had in the water. Totally unacceptable to not give your customers a heads up on their property. Then they said I was harrassing them by calling too many times because no one would give me an answer. We eventually picked up our boat, without the new tow bar installed, and had a friend tow it to our lake. THEN our battery died. The boat is one year old. stored inside all winter and they didn't even give the boat a tune up like they said. Robbery. Don't do it, especially if you want your boat for the 12 weeks you can use it.

My family has been a customer of Mac Donald marine for years.We recently purchased a boat and lift from them. Scott was a very professional and courteous during the process and Jared the owner was very helpful as well.

I would highly recommend MacDonald Marine and especially their salesman, Scott. I set out to buy a boat, hoist, and dock and visited several different marinas in the process. In many cases, the salesmen I dealt with at those other marinas were pushy and didn’t always seem to be well informed. I found Scott to be very knowledgeable, friendly, fair, and straightforward and he made the buying experience very enjoyable. I can’t stress how pleased I was with MacDonald Marine - the entire team was great!

If I could give these thieves zero stars, I would. Do not do business with them. We bought a Lund boat and it was one of the worst transactions we've ever experienced. They knew little about the boat, the fish finder wasn't working properly, the helm seat was mounted 3 inches forward of where it should have been and macdonald would do nothing to help. They wouldn't answer our calls after the sale. When we stopped in since we couldn't get them to return our calls, they denied even knowing us. When there was a warranty issue with the floor that needed to be replaced since the seat was mounted incorrectly, we got no help at all. We ended up contacting Lund for help and frankly, they weren't any better. Jared macdonald is horrible with customers and so is his entire staff. Grab your wallet and head over to Walstrom Marine in Traverse City. They picked up the mess that Lund and macdonald left us in and cleaned it up for us. We will buy a different boat from Walstrom but wouldn't buy a fish hook from macdonald marine.
