This is the best ice cream place for a long ways. The employees work fast, the ice cream is just amazing, the place is inviting, there’s something for every one and it’s great value. The single scoop is humongous and they have unique flavors. I highly recommended the lemon cheesecake flavor.

My ice cream was amazing! The prices were very competitive and it was the closest spot to walk down and watch the sunset! The 2 year old definitely approved it!!

We love the Cool Spot for a treat in Frankfort. They have excellent ice cream flavours and dessert combinations, but most important for us, they manage food allergies very very well. We have both a dairy-free and peanut allergy in our family, which makes ice cream type desserts very difficult most of the time. Not at the Cool Spot! The staff knew exactly what options fit everyone's needs and were clearly well trained in handling them. Everyone got a great tasty treat, and we had absolutely no concerns about product contamination. The desserts were all very good, but the peace of mind that comes with seeing staff handle food allergies professionally and confidently is worth just as much! Protip -> the line inside moves faster than you think...

Do not recommend! I ordered a pineapple SMOOTHIE and a vanilla MILKSHAKE. The SMOOTHIE tasted like expired milk with pineapple flavoring 1/10. The vanilla MILKSHAKE tasted like straight up cold milk. All of my kids got ice cream and were also very disappointed. DO NOT RECOMMEND

For a lower calorie option, try the diet. Seven cooler. Made with diets. Have enough and frozen vanilla yogurt. It's just as good as anything else!

Delicious! The Michigan Pot Hole ice cream is INCREDIBLE! One of my favorite ice cream places by far! The whole town is super cute!

The cool spot is, and was, quite frankly, one of my favorite aspects of Frankfort. I go to Frankfort fairly often and always visit the cool spot. The employees are always very friendly, the ice cream is phenomenal, and the layout is even cute. I would highly recommend getting the cookie squall, which is my favorite. Great choice for any occasion!

The kids went in here and got some ice cream. Was very busy but they made it through the line pretty fast. I went to brewery across the street and waited lol. I tried dune if the ice cream and it was pretty good.

This is not only the place to go for quality ice cream, but it is owned and operated by a wonderful hands on person who does it all from serving, cashiering and cleaning in addition to all of the other duties of running a business. Being greeted with a genuine smile and severed righteously good ice cream is a double treat.

They had great ice cream and we loved the seating on the deck. The girl was happy to create a somewhat custom coffee drink for me with no hesitation which I was really appreciative of.
