Nice warm sunny day strolling in downtown Frankfort, heading for the beach...and what do we see!! The Scoop of Frankfort. Friendly service...we had a nice chat and learned that they use local/regional ice cream from Moomers. We each ordered a milk shake (no melting or dripping while walking): chocolate for him, strawberry for her. They were totally delicious. Perfect for our stroll. Kinda sad to get to that last drop!!

Delicious ice cream. Excellent selection of cone variations. The prices were reasonable, which is something noteworthy in this part of Michigan.

The ice cream nachos were amazing. Such a great idea. I got chocolate ice cream, waffle chips and heath bar on top, plus hot fudge on the side.My boyfriend got an oreo shake which was also amazing. Staff was super friendly as well.

I could write a thousand words about all of the amazing ice cream I’ve had from here! The Scoop is always the move! Moomers ice cream, friendly staff, and the line moves fast no matter how long. Plus, one of my favorite ice cream flavors ever, Sun on the Beach, is unique to here and created by the family that runs it!

Delicious ice cream in crunchy waffle cones. I tried the toasted coconut. My husband enjoyed a gluten free cake cone with decadent chocolate. He rarely finds gluten free cones, so this was a surprise! We were both very impressed. The employees are welcoming and energetic. I wish we could visit this shop more often. Outstanding service and a quality product??

The Scoop in Frankfort was at the right place at the right time! It was dang hot out and an ice cream cone sounded like a brilliant idea! The Scoop not only had many tasty flavors to choose from, you could also choose one of their many dipped waffle cones! Superb! Anyway you look at it, getting a couple scoops of ice cream in a dipped waffle cone makes you the winner! Thank you!

100% worth the hype! The selection of waffle cones is so fun and charming and they also taste good! I had a scoop of the chocolate PB and it was great! The scoops are very generous sizes! My girls got scoops of mint Oreo, chocoholic, and brownie batter and all of the kiddie scoops were the size of a typical single sized scoop. The customer service was outstanding. Highly recommend this place! It had a line even during a rainstorm.

Excellent ice cream! Some of the best you will have while in Northern Michigan. YUMMY!!! Staff is warm and inviting too. The line can be long at times, but that is to be expected in a beach town in July. The quality of the ice cream more than makes up for having to wait. Two Thumbs Up!!!

The best ice cream ever. Service is great and super understanding. I totally recommend the peanut butter burden sundae with the peanut butter cookie ice cream, it is outstanding! Absolutely amazing hopefully able to come back this summer.

I told the employees that were working at the time that my son had an allergy. They helped me check the flavor that my son wanted. Yet they then proceeded to scoop a flavor with the allergen before scooping my sons. They did not wipe or rinse the scoop before scooping my sons ice cream.Luckily, my son is ok but it could have ended badly.

True story: this is the first ice cream place we visited on our week in the area and every other place was fine—but we always wanted to go back to the Scoop. And we did, three times!
