Jose R was the technician who handled our refrigerator problem - no cooling, the fan and more iced up. He was great and got it running cold again, unfortunately the problems are in the category of "the cost to repair is about the same as the cost to replace" under the Consumers Service Plan so we're likely looking at a replacement. He was thorough, clearly explained the problem and with his fix, we've got time to get a replacement without using bags of ice and coolers as we were forced to do back when Sears was still around and took two weeks to get a similar problem resolved. AJ's is now our "go to" company.

I cannot say enough nice things about this place. I have a Whirlpool wall oven that had to have the handle repaired. Fixed the handle but I could not get the door back together. called them at 10:00 and brought the door in. By 11:30 I was driving home with the door in tact. I cannot thank these people enough!

Worst repair service I have ever used. They were sent out DTE's home warranty. I need an igniter on my gas range looked at as it was constantly firing. I was told the piece I needed was out of stock indefinitely and would need a new stove top. I fixed that myself by cleaning it. My oven gas line needed to be cleaned it was building gas and puffing when I turned it on. Told I needed an igniter even though it wasn't a year old then took my oven apart. Said he didn't have the part and would be back next week. I get a call the next day saying it's old and not worth repairing so he's not going to do it. My oven worked before you took it apart. Now it's in pieces on my kitchen table. Canceled my warranty as every time I've used it the workers were incompetent but this one was the worst.

Less than one star. Part two to my fridge repair fiasco thanks to AJs. They have no idea what they are doing. Don't bother asking for the owner because he doesn't care and won't help. I knew what was wrong with my refrigerator, but the service guy knew better and installed the wrong part. Not only didn't it fit, but he squished essential wires. Had to hire a second company who took out the wrong part, put the original part back in. When the error I had originally called about happened again, the second company, Kenwhirl, changed the fan motor. Why? Because that's what the error code said to do, but this awful company couldn't manage to listen to me in the first place. Don't use them. They are useless.

We got this company out through the dte appliance repair plan. Not only was the tech rude. They were late, and they wouldn't fix my washer. They said that it would cost to much. Then why am I paying dte.

not recommended over priced and the parts the use are garbage. last year they came out and fix the dryer for me not even a year later the dryer broke down again with the same problem. They use the junk cheap part. and they charge me $263. If they would've used good parts, it wouldn't of broke down with the same problem in less than one year. stay away from these guys unless you want to get ripped off

I HIGHLY RECOMMEND them for appliance parts. When they say they'll have parts for you, they mean it. Ryan was a great help. I will always go through them now for parts.

If it were possible to select less than one star, I would. Sent to my senior citizen parents home for a DTE warranty repair for what should've been a minor light replacement on a late model refrigerator turned into a nightmare. The repairman came up with one excuse after another as to why he couldn't fix it and needed to come back again. This was the case until the FOURTH and final time when he declared all it needed was a simple bulb and proceeded to charge them nearly $300. Whatever you do, go with someone else!

I’m very thankful for my time working at AJ’s appliances. Tony, his wife, and the team went above and beyond when welcoming me to the company. Tony and his wife are very compassionate people, not only to their employees, but to their customers too. Due to personal circumstances, I was only able to work at the company for a couple of months. Tony was very understanding and supportive. Overall, I would highly recommended working at this company. There’s an abundance of knowledge to learn and there are positions for a variety of backgrounds.

Needed washer parts fast. Laundry was stacking up. Ryan was able to get me hard to find parts within 12 hours of my phone call. They really came through,with flying colors. Would highly recommend. Excellent service

I would highly recommend. my furnace went out a couple days before Christmas and right before a big snow storm. Ryan informed me that they usually do not sell furnace parts but he could have that part in a couple hours and offered to drop it off at my home. Outstanding customer service.

Fast and friendly service, my girlfriend broke our dishwasher , I took the part in and they ordered it for me, called me after just 2 hours , THEY had the part delivered already, fit like a glove, will return . 10/10
