Update: Last month (August 2024) I had another great experience with Steve and Masonic Auto Electric. Our car was driven thru a deep puddle, which stopped the engine. They found the issues and fixed them, which turned out to mainly be electrical issues and then the car ran great. I strongly recommend them.
I just had my car repaired at Masonic Auto Electric and they did an outstanding job. They fixed a problem with the front and rear obstacle detection and the blindspot sensors. This was a job that most people would have done at a dealership, since it involves reprogramming the sensors to work with the vehicle system. It turned out the problem was water got into the blindspot sensors, so when they replaced the sensors they sealed them well with silicone to make sure it doesn't happen again. Steve was wonderful. He kept me up to date on the progress, was very nice and thorough, and clearly wanted to make me satisfied with their work. They ended up exceeding my expectations. The price was fair, especially given how much work they had to do, and I'm sure it was much less than the dealership would have charged. They have a great location that's easy to get to if you live on the east side. I'm so glad my friend recommended them to me, since I was having a hard time finding someone to fix it. I would highly recommend Masonic Auto Electric for anyone needing electrical work done on their vehicle.

These guys are the best! I brought in a vehicle that was having extensive electrical problems. They found the problem, fixed it and charged a fair price. They have excellent customer service and Steve kept me up to date on their findings and progress. I highly recommend Masonic Auto Electric!

You should be able to give MORE than 5 stars on here… recently brought an older car here because my power windows were wonky; one worked, one didn’t, when you pressed the button to another, it activated the blower fan.. so yeah, you could say I was having electrical issues lol. They fixed it all in good time for a great price. It sure is nice being able to roll down my windows now!! Definitely recommend.

Steve and his crew are awesome. They have worked on several of our vehicles. NEVER ANY GAMES OR LIES. I recommend this auto shop. They are small EXPECT a wait. I'm lucky enough to be able to.

Small service center. 2 auto bays. Scheduled service on 4/6/23: oil filter change, check fluids, and replace fuel release switch (I supplied). Everything was completed on time (4/7/23). The only problem I had was a day, and 2 days later, there was a noticeable leak under the car; please see pictures showing oil stains/leak on cardboard (in my garage) and on asphalt in a parking lot. Currently, thank God, there is no noticeable leak. I will keep an eye on it though. I sent pictures to the owner, 4/10/23, and he said he would take a look at it and give me a call. Have not heard back from the Steve, the owner. Based on my experience, with the leak, and no call back, I will not come here again nor recommend this location for auto service.Services: Oil change
