“I and my mom had Nanc do some sewing for us. I had a patch put on the back of a jacket and mom had some receiving blankets made. Nanc is a true artist. She got everything done in one day. She had my patch done within 10 minutes. And I came to pick up the blankets later in the afternoon. She did a magnificent job on both orders.”

I had brought my wedding dress in 4 months before my wedding to a local seamstress in Muskegon, and was left upset and terrified that my dress was too small and I’d be spending a ton on alterations to fix it, after being told “I didn’t give them a lot of time” and “my dress is just too small. The zipper will break if I wear it all night.” They referred me to Miller and said they’d be able to better help me. I called and said I’d be in town the next day for work, and they squeezed me in at my convenience. They assessed my dress and reassured me it fit just fine, and with a few minor alterations it would fit perfectly. I felt so much better immediately! I was also in a wedding a few weeks after that initial experience, and I hurt my back the week before and couldn’t wear heels, so they squeezed me in last minute and hemmed my bridesmaids dress in 5 days, and never once made me feel like an inconvenience. Once my wedding dress was done, they had me try it on and make sure I was happy and didn’t need any other alterations. I had my dress in hand with plenty of time before my wedding and didn’t break the bank like i initially feared. Wedding preparations can be stressful, but choosing everyone you work with wisely helps SO much. I’ll send everyone here for any alterations. Forever thankful!!!”
