I probably won't be going back to this dealership for repairs. I had my Jeep in for a sensor repair, should have been a 1 hour job, or so I was told. After 3 hours of sitting in the waiting area, with no word on my car's progress, I went to the service desk to ask if there was an issue. As I waked out to the service area, there were at least 3 workers standing in the garage joking about some of the dirtiest car's they've had to detail. When I asked Maria, the service clerk, if there were issues with my vehicle, she looked up at the 3 workers and said, " have you finished her Jeep, yet?" The 3 of them dispursed pretty quickly to the back. She proceeded to tell me that they're having trouble with the paint on the sensor, it's currently painted and they're waiting for it to dry to test it and it should only be a little bit longer. I go back to the waiting area and a half hour later the service manager comes in and explains yheyvhave the wrong part and I will have to come back another day for the repair. I came back about a week later and they completes the repair in abou15 minutes. They didn't charge me for a full hour of work or the extra for the new sensor, as it was more expensive than the wrong sensor they tried to use first. All and all, their communication skills are seriously lacking. I wasnt too upset about the wrong sensor because those things happen, but to leave me sitting in the waiting area for 3 hours without do much as a whisper really turned me off from Snethkamp. A simple 5 second explanation of " we're having some issues with the sensor" would have have been enough to ease my mind rather than silence.
