This weekend, I went skiing at two awesome ski resorts with my dad, named Treetops and Otsego Ski resort. Otsego was even funner than Treetops. It had a café, five individual lifts, plenty of fun trails and a massive terrain park. The café at Otsego was a very nice one, and had a large fire which was great to come into on a cold day. Unfortunately I wasn't able to be there for too long, and therefore couldn't see too many things that they served, but one thing I know was that the hot chocolate is great and the candy bars are delicious. The trails at Otsego were also great, but had a bit of a higher skill level. They had a few easy blues and greens, like Für Elise and Alan's alley for begenners, but no bunny hill, a load of blacks like waterfall and master's, two steep duo trails that me and my dad very much liked and even a few fun double blacks like Bob's Glade, a exciting and adrenaline-giving slope that emptied out into a easy green. The terrain park was also super fun, with gigantic jumps that sent me very high up into the air but no rails, which was ok but not as cool as it could be. The only rail I could find was a few rotten blocks of wood that someone had thrown together and then left to the power of the forest.

Very cute older resort. Was there for a conference last weekend, the staff was very accommodating, slightly short staffed, but those that were working were really excellent!Huge rooms, very easy to get from building to building, the food was also good in the restaurant!

Have been living in Gaylord on and off for 15 years and have had a lot of great experiences at this resort.Beautiful landscapes, awesome dining and fun all year round. The best golfing and skiing.Check out the local music, cozy atmosphere and great service at the Logmark.Chris McNew is a fabulous bartender over at the Duck Blind Grill. It’s always fun bellying up to his bar.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

As a local, I love visiting this resort. The music, events, food are some of the reason I visit regularly. The Tribute is one of my favorite courses to golf! The view is absolutely breath taking! The O-Park is one of the best terrain parks for skiing! And don't get me started on their bloody mary mix!

Otsego Resort is and has always been one of my favorite destinations! The staff are welcoming! The service is wonderful! As a musician, I love performing here as well! The nightlife is engaging and exciting! Also, the food is fantastic! :)

I have been coming to the otsego club for skiing and golfing for years and have always loved both. The winter season ski hill has alway been taken care of perfectly and has an amazing atmosphere. The Tribute is one of the the most breathtaking courses in Northern Michigan with great views and a well maintained course. I would highly recommend anyone coming to northern Michigan for golf or ski visit Otsego Resort.

While the tribute is a beautiful course the lack of a GPS system on the cart is an omission that needs to be addressedThere are too many hole with blind shots and severe penalties for what seem to be good shotsThe facilities are average

Customer service is horrible - Tracy did not call us back about stay and play packages until after we were checked in and then would not offer any information and was actually a little put off that I even asked to the point I found her rude - the front desk has zero information in which Tracy replied "then they are doing their job" - the Grill is overpriced for the quality of the food - The resort is falling apart - needs to be updated - peeling paint on the buildings makes it look even more rundown - don't think about going swimming - the pool was filthy - the only good thing I can say is the maintenance crew were very helpful and were on top of any issues we had (the phone nor the fridge worked in our room and had to be switched out) - will not be back

The resort and rooms were in good shape and great place to hang. As me and my buddies booked this for a golf trip the courses left more to be desired. Otsego Classic is a very basic course and playing the 10th hole you have to worry about balls flying in from the driving range(good luck finding your golf ball mixed in with range balls in the fairway.)Otsego Tribute was a disappointment from the quality of play. Bunkers filled with rocks and very slow greens. We played the Tribute on Thursday(start of trip) and Sunday(to end the trip). Pin positions were not reset from Thursday to Sunday and I don’t think they cut the greens or rolled them all weekend. Green quality was no better than a low rate municipal course. If you are looking for a resort for a good time and very friendly staff this is for you, but if you want high quality golf I would recommend a stay and play at another resort.

Do not stay in room #117 located in the basement in Blue Spruce Lodge. Clammy air, and a FILTHY air conditioning system gave me one of the worst sinus infections I’ve had in a long time. These basement rooms are reserved for people with dogs. I paid extra for this special room ($35 per night).I will never go back.

Clammy air, and a FILTHY air conditioning system gave me one of the worst sinus infections I’ve ever had. I stayed 3 nights at the Otsego Resort. Initially, I thought my throat was getting sore because of up north allergies. But no, it was because the air I was breathing all night was full of mold or fungus or something. We stayed in a room reserved for people with dogs which was a lower level walkout room, so basically in the basement. Truly a health hazard. I will never go back.

My wife on I got married at Otsego Resort on Jan. 28th, 2023 and it was everything we could have asked for! When we decided on a mid-winter wedding, we really wanted to lean into it and thought a ski resort would be perfect and Otsego didn't disappoint. The ambiance of the rustic ski lodges and fireplaces was amazing and talk about that view! The rolling hills and snow covered buildings were great for pictures.Tracy and her staff made sure our day was perfect. We initially worked with someone else at the venue to plan the wedding, and outside of some understandable hiccups, everything went smoothly. They kept us updated throughout the process and made sure that we had everything we needed. We had our wedding in the restaurant space and it was converted by the staff to suit our needs and we had a great view of the hills as our backdrop. The special events area also provided ample room for our reception and was set up and ready before we even got to the venue. They also catered the wedding and it was some of the best food we've ever had at an event. The braised short ribs, fish with lobster cream sauce, and chicken wings were all delicious along with some great appetizers. They worked with us with on availability and pricing to make sure we were all happy. We also rented out the Hilltop Lodge which was a great decision and one of the highlights of the wedding. In the lodge we were able to host our welcome dinner and farewell brunch. It was a godsend to have a centralized location where we could all meet up especially in winter when you don't want your guests traveling. The rooms in the Hilltop were well kept and provided more than enough space for activities and getting ready before the wedding. We didn't stay in the normal lodge rooms but our guests did and everyone seemed to enjoy their stay.Overall, Otsego was a great place to get married and we're glad we did. My wife and I are already planning to go back on our one year anniversary for a ski trip and looking forward to it!

Excellent ski resort! Large and spread out hills with lots of runs with easy lift access! Easy and challenging terrain! Cute and cozy cabin at lift 5 for food and drinks with fires going inside and out. Easy to get to from Gaylord (5 mins off I75). Not sure on lodging on site but there are several hotels in Gaylord. The facility was neat, clean and tidy. Could some buildings use some paint and replaced boards? Sure but it doesn’t effect the skiing. Prices were pretty good, food was good, short lift lines, hills weren’t crowded so we got in lots of runs. Definitely recommend and will be back!

Spent two days at Otsego ski with the family. It was a great experience and can't wait to go back! The slopes are wonderful and not over crowded. The staff is outstanding and truly made for a great experience. I work in the hotel industry and I can say the Otsego Team is outstanding. Will be back soon!
