I got a notification saying my package was delivered so I went to the mailbox check the whole apartment complex no package.. I called the helpline that phone number is an automated service that spins you in circles you cannot talk to a human.. long story short the mailman had put my package in somebody else's mailbox.. my apartment number was clearly printed on the package.. I shouldn't have to be a part-time detective and have to hunt down my mail.. this has happened on more than one occasion.. nor should I have to worry and wonder if my package is going to be in the correct place.

This place is always busy, busy, busy. Going with the flow is needed. No rush. The counter agents know their stuff. They go above and beyond as if you were their first customer of the day.

My Priority mail express package arrived on a Sunday at this location. They admittedly lied to me on the phone that they didn't know where my package was. When I called another location, a worker stated they used to work at the Gaylord Post Office and they're the hub that delivers on sundays. So I called back and the worker said shoot I wasn't expecting somebody to rat on us! I am literally in shock that the worker on the phone lied to me! We paid over $50 to make sure the package arrived and now they got rid of it because they didnt want to do there job and drive to drop it off. The employee should be fired! Isnt that considered mail tampering or obstruction of mail. So now there is absolutely no tracking on my package so it's probably in the garbage. Now I am without a package due to someone not wanting to do their job at this location. Very disappointing.

Depending on the postal person that happens to be delivering (as we don't have a consistent postal person), we can't get our packages! Excuse #1 was our 12 year old dog who could barely walk that the postal woman was "in fear of her life" (but the other postal people were not) so we put in driveway alarms so I could race down the stairs and outside to meet the vehicle because she refused to honk her horn in the driveway. The dog subsequently died and the post office was advised of same - then, for whatever reason, my packages were occasionally dropped out of the window of the postal vehicle close to the deck but not actually on the deck - too lazy to exit your vehicle? Now today, I got an Amazon alert saying "front door or driveway was not accessible" - there is literally less than 1 inch of snow. I even put in a sign on a frigin red post so the packages would be delivered under the partially enclosed porch and not dropped in the snow/rain as they had been previously. UGH!!!! Just amazing that UPS can manage to read the sign and get out of their truck but USPS cannot. Absolutely pathetic!!!

I had two boxes out for delivery on Sunday. They wasn’t supposed to be here till Monday. So I got a message from a lovely neighbor of mine saying my packages was outside, shoved under the P.O. Boxes that’s for our community and squished! I live so close to the mail boxes it could’ve been walked over and walked back in 2 mins!!!I’m very disappointed in how this got delivered to me! & if it wasn’t for the lovely neighbor of mine I would’ve NEVER known!!! As they was supposed to be delivered MONDAY!!!

UPS! stop blowing my phone up with text messages. Spam! Since I called to fix the problem, it's gotten worse. Every day, and Sunday.

The incompetence of employees at this post office is astounding! I filed for a change of address over a month and a half ago, got my confirmation email etc. I have not received any mail at my new address, aside from the CONFIRMATION OF CHANGE OF ADDRESS PACKET the usps sends you when you change your address. When I contacted them, they said they never received my change of address request(which was obviously a lie as I’m holding the confirmation packet in my hands right this minute). I asked how this was possible as I already had the confirmation packet. The person who responded to my inquiry then Stated, “Yes you have an active forward. Sometimes mail doesn’t come in with the unit letter. She will start to put your mail in forwards” Apparently they just never started forwarding my mail. So all of my mail has gone to my old address for almost 45 days now. I asked how this could happen, instead of responding the person closed my case. Absolutely absurd! The unprofessionalism, the incompetence! Disgraceful!

Worst run around experience. Just so everyone knows you can not pick up your mail at the counter here when it has been held there not to you knowledge, even tho the gentleman I spoke with on the 1800 number tells you that you can Monday through Friday before 5 pm. The staff behind the counter were extreme rude and dismissive when I was trying to find out where my mail has been for at least a week that I can see. So disappointed, left in tears because of the situation. If I could give negative stars I would.

Kevin behind the counter was unhelpful, unkind, and lacked decorum. As an individual who has worked years in customer service, I was so disappointed and how overtly unhappy he seemed to be at his job. Ruined my experience and made me want to go out of my way to a different zip code for PO services.

Unbelievably helpful staff. Seriously amazing coming from a city where USPS barely look up from their desk to "help" you. Great job, Gaylord USPS!

I have never had to deal with a post office like this. We go days at a time without mail and keep getting an alert that our driveway is inaccessible, which isn't true at all. In the middle of summer, there is now snow. How can our driveway be inaccessible? Even during the winter, our road is plowed and our driveway is also. So frustrating to have to go in and request my mail monthly.

The employees at this post office are, by far, the friendliest I have encountered. I do a lot of business inside the post office and they are always extra courteous and helpful. I also have zero problems getting my mail delivered to my home.
