Terrible service. No one seems to know what's going on here or even how to figure out if they have a prescription called in or not.

I was denied a COVID vaccine, against the guidelines and recommendations set forth by the Michigan Chief Medical Executive Standing Recommendation #2025-01, and following Executive Directive 2025-7 (both of which are current as of the date of this review). I was cleared for vaccination by my primary care physician, and had no contraindications for vaccination. Their chief pharmacist is either ignorant or deliberately non compliant. The pharmacy is no place for political activism or witholding access to verified and legal medical care.
I am in the process of withdrawing all my prescriptions, the prescriptions of my family members, and transferring them all elsewhere. I will no longer be visiting this chain for any reason.

I have been using Walgreens for a number of years now. Their service was exceptional. However, since taking over the clients from another pharmacy that closed, the service has been erratic and taking much longer to prepare orders. I don’t believe that they have a sufficient amount of pharmacists working and the pharmacy area of the store is too small to adequately hire more pharmacists. I do believe the staff and pharmacists are doing their best but there just isn’t enough of them to promptly fill the orders. I have watched the looks on the faces of customers when they are told their orders aren’t ready. The ability to call and find out if your order is ready so you don’t have sit around the store or make multiple trips to find out when your prescriptions are ready is not an option due to no one answering the phone. Just to see how long it would take for someone to answer when it told me there was one caller ahead of me, I was on hold for 1 hr 30mins before I hung up. I believe that dealing with the costs of prescriptions and the backlog of orders, the owners of Walgreens should make a better attempt on keeping their customers happy or it’s a perfect opportunity for a new pharmacy to stake a claim in Gaylord.

They have everything you would expect to find at a Walgreens.

Drove 20 miles each way Sunday to pick up prescriptions. Pharmacy closed due to no pharmacist on duty. Should be able to have an employee hand out already packaged medications or if pharmacist has to be on duty then have 2!

Pharmacy was busy today. One employee helping customers in the drive thru and the lobby inside. No matter if someone was frustrated that they were waiting a little bit or whatever the reason thar brought you to the pharmacy, you let with a smile today. All because Amanda's infectious smile and upbeat attitude.
A job well done Amanda 👏👏

Absolute worst service! Stopped in to pick up my dad’s BP meds and my own meds. I got two calls the day before that they were ready but couldn’t make it in that day. Literally the next day I stopped in and Daniel the “pharm tech” very rudely informed me that he had put it back at end of day as it sat on the shelf for 12 days despite that not even being possible as my dad was at his doctor only 10 days ago and it was not filled that day or the weekend following. The pharmacist was also very rude and snapped at me saying I “created three times the work for them having to fill it, put it back and now fill it again”. Wouldn’t ring me up for my own meds and I was informed to “go sit down and they’d get to it when they get to it but they’re extremely busy and I will just have to wait.” I’ve never been treated so poorly!! I’ll be switching my business ASAP after this. I won’t be back.

By far the worst customer service and they just lost a customer forever. My husband has a bone disease and is on pain pills for over 20 years. He does not abuse the use and is on disability. This pharmacy held up his prescription for 3 days which caused withdrawal for my husband. I called today to get a status and the pharmacist actually laughed at me... we will not be back and my suggestion to all their customers is to find another pharmacy that actually care about their patients. Walgreens is disgusting in how they treat people.

DO NOT LET THE FEMALE PHARMACIST WITH THE SHORT HAIR GIVE YOU A SHOT OF ANY SORT! See what I was left with, a Staph infection. Not only did she give me a Staph infection she gave me my flu and Covid shot in the WRONG MUSCLE in my arm! Which after the red rash left I had two bruises. The male pharmacist claims she has the proper training and certification, but somehow I doubt it. I will without a doubt make sure to tell anyone I see in the pharmacy that may be planning on getting a vaccination about her if she's there. I think I'll post it on Twitter also so Walgreens main gets ahold of me. I had to be put on an antibiotic, steroid and antihistamine. My doctor even said what was she doing? Or did she not know what she was doing, she shot you in the wrong muscle.! DO NOT LET THE FEMALE PHARMACIST WITH THE SHORT HAIR TOUCH YOU WITH A NEEDLE! Zero stars should absolutely be an option.

Been using this pharmacy for a while now and not only are the staff knowledgeable and helpful but will also go above and beyond the scope of their job so long as it is helpful to persons health and does not violate any laws or regulations. I understand that between insurance, Legal and how the doctor writes the script "every 8Hrs PRN is diff then up to 3 times a day. I get other meds that comes from a special pharmacy and when I took the med list up to pharmacy about possible interactions with other meds and conditions they did admit they did not know but to call back in a day so they can look into it rather then accidental misinformation. One time my ID was left behind and they called me to let me know. I have been sick for many years and have used a multitude of dirrent ones that I compare with.
