I have banked here for probably 7 years. The tellers are great. But online banking is terrible. The customer service in general is poor. They take twice as long as any other bank to post transactions. Bank transfers take 4 and 5 days. I have had my other bank transfer money to members first and verify they received the funds. But members first holds the money for 4 and 4 and 5 days it’s really a pain. You can’t set up a checking account online. It’s real old school and not in a good way.

I Have Been a Member for a Long time, I always Receive Great Customer Service, Weather it is when I phone call about my financial needs or recently I Needed to do a refi on a truck Loan that was at another financial institution, I called and was introduced to a Wonderful Loan Officer She Took care of All my Needs and a way better interest rate, And I mentioned to her in our conversation I was considering redoing my mortgage, That day I received a call from one of her colleagues who specializes in mortgages!I Recommend Members First Credit Union, I Give Them 100%Rating on Customer service and Efficiency!!!

All around wonderful in every aspect. Been there 10+ years and any issues I've ever had has always been corrected quickly, even once when it was my own error they still helped resolve my issue even though they did not have to. Above all the customer service is always top notch!

Hire some customer service people. MFCU is for sure not for members anymore. Ready to change to a good credit union. You continually make it worse.

They could train their employees to treat customers with a little respect it's gotten ridiculous at the members 1st on Dartmouth in Midland sun in several times they talk down to you as if you don't know what you're doing they're rude out of the who knows how many that work there I've only had one good experience I asked one of the representatives why is it that I or people in general would use Members First Credit Union for their banking needs you know what makes them stand out what would make me choose them well Auntie answered that question real quick not in a beneficial way for Members First they're going down the tubes in so many ways just what everyone wants when they're taking care of their financial business is someone who's rude on a regular basis I think they train them to do it

DO NOT give them your business!! I'm not the type of person to post reviews but that's how I'm pissed I am at this point. I had an auto loan with them. NEVER missed a payment, ALWAYS on time. I got offers from several different institutions that would lower my interest rate by a significant margin. I called Members First to see if there's anything they could to at the very LEAST get close to matching what other institutions were offering. I got a very short and sweet, no. I Cool so I go to a different institution. They write members first a check, I went to a branch, took my money and closed the account and thought everything was good. Fast forward the next 2 months and they're STILL trying to take money out of my account and had to place a stop pay each time. Mind you I'm making payments to my NEW institution!! I called them and said I still owe them a payment AND my savings account was closed in the negative! They reported all this to the credit bureaus and instantly I lost about 55pts. And this is while a pandemic is taking place, business are closing, and panic is spreading. No empathy being shown what's so ever on there end. After losing energy fighting, I decide to make payments and dispute there BS reporting through the bureaus. Good news is after a month of review the bureaus scrubbed out the reporting. Bad news is members first decided to report me AGAIN, WHILE MAKING PAYMENTS! $67! I repeat $67 collection has been reported on my credit. 60 day delinquency. So now I have to fight that too and once again this is all while humanity is dealing with multiple crisis. NO EMPATHY! Heath my warning and DO NOT give them your service.

Well where do I even start. my husband and I have never had so many issues with a bank. We have had more double payments taken out for things from them then single payments. We have never once had them apologize or take responsibility. They have credited it back a couple times with a sigh and huff and puff like we took money from them instead of the other way around. We have been told that Credit Unions are supposed to be better than most banks but we more than beg to differ

Staff is very friendly and helpful. You always get service with a smile. I got my first car loan here without being a member when other financial institutions wouldn't help me when I was a member. This made me change to MFCU.

Used Preferred CU for a while and this branch allowed me to bank with them. Always friendly and started to recognize me and welcome me when I'd come in.
