Northwoods Hardware Home, Garden & Nursery is much more than a typical hardware store. It offers a wide range of products, including hardware, paint, grilling supplies, a full garden center, plant nursery, and equipment rentals. Known for its exceptional and friendly service, the staff is always willing to help customers find solutions to their questions. The expanded nursery features healthy plants at competitive prices, and delivery is super-affordable. Customers appreciate the excellent selection, value, and surprising inventory that often exceeds that of larger stores. Northwoods is a cherished resource for the Glen Arbor and Leelanau County communities, making it a favorite destination for both locals and visitors.
Great little store. We needed an extension cord and they had exactly what we were looking for. Jillian was very kind and helpful! If I ever need anything while I'm in this neck of the woods I will definitely be stopping again.

The people here were so kind and helpful when we showed up seeking help patching a broken windshield. They even let us use their shop vac to vacuum out all the broken glass and wouldn’t let us pay them for it. I’m really glad places like this still exist.

Nicest hardware store I’ve ever been to. Family owned - sold much needed fruit fly traps!
