Good Hart General Store is an authentic 1934 general store and community gathering place nestled along Michigan's scenic Tunnel of Trees. It is a tiny building that combines a U.S. Post Office, a complete deli and bakery, a general grocer, and a gourmet and gift shop. It is known for its amazing homemade pies, including beef and chicken pot pies and apple cranberry, described as delicious and perfect. The store also offers the best homemade cookies and fresh baked goods. It is a great spot to stop for snacks, drinks, hot food, souvenirs, and locally made goods, and it provides a restroom. The friendly people and amazing customer service make it a nice stop and a must on M119. This historic building along the picturesque drive is the kind of place you love to see, offering a bit of the local vibe. Visitors are glad they stopped and will definitely be back.
A fun place to shop with souvenirs- shirts, stickers, etc. Nice variety of beverages as well. Will definitely to try the bakery next time!!
