Very nice family owned company. Salesman Gavin was straight forward and was great to deal with. Manager Mike was a very nice person. They worked hard to make us happy and we love our Subaru. Will buy again from this dealership.

Buyer Beware!I was helping a young autistic adult buy their first car. I thought I could trust Al Serra based on their reputation. The young adult could only afford a car around $5000. She chose one that was a bit more expensive, but the sales associate assured us that the Al Serra mechanics had done $1,200 in repairs and additionally had not flagged anything else as needing attention. I still had the buyer take it to an independent mechanic for inspection. Well, an additional $3000+ in repairs were needed! When I brought this to the sales persons attention I was quickly turned over to a manger. The manager basically told me that Al Serra wouldn’t budge on price or fix it at their expense; they’ll just sell it to someone else. Of course, I’m paraphrasing and he spoke very politely and professionally, but that is exactly what he was saying. So basically, they have zero integrity. My suggestion is to get an independent mechanic to look at anything you may buy, or better yet, buy elsewhere.

Went in to purchase used Subaru. During test drive the LOW TIRE warning appeared. Telling the salesman I wanted the tire "fixed" more air was put into the leaking tire. Apparently no one took the time to learn what was causing the leak. Before I was home it was LOW AGAIN. When I got into a tire shop an inch and a quarter long, quarter inch wide, screw portion was removed from the LOW TIRE. Someone at Al Serra Auto Plaza really should have evaluated the tire and truly repaired the leak. it is wrong to receive a car that has a flat tire in just a few days. A fair price was paid for the used vehicle, but its initial quality left a lot to be desired.

I don’t think I can convey how nervous I was to be used car shopping. I’ve had the same car for 7 years and I bought it used from a friend. My last used car dealership experience was in 2011 and it was a nightmare - so I was understandably hesitant to walk into Al Serra Pre Owned Vehicles. That feeling went away almost instantly - the salesperson I worked with (Justin F) greeted me with such genuine enthusiasm and seemed excited to find me a car I loved. Finding the car was easy - I was a difficult buyer to get approved for financing, though. Justin and Roby in billing both were so patient, kind and helpful. I felt like they really fought for me to be approved and ultimately they succeeded and were able to go above and beyond expectations with terms etc. I made sure to let them know in person, too, but I hope they see this review so they can hear it again - THANK YOU SO MUCH! I felt taken care of, appreciated and seen as an individual - not just another customer coming through the doors of a very busy dealership. I appreciate the positive experience and beautiful car I was able to drive away with!

Buyer beware they want to sell you junk then when you see the same car but better condition which should be the price of the other car these dealerships are ripped the poor off. Buy a car for 4000 I would hope it will be dependable. What Jennifer showed me was a joke and insulted my intelligence

Had an appointment and was 30 minutes early, they were prompt and very friendly. Happy with all my experiences from the salesman that sold us the car to the service department. Service guys were super and efficient! Everyone is so helpful to answer any questions. Great Experience And would recommend Al Serra Auto Plaza for my next car again.

Great sales people But service department needs a lot of work. Been coming there for at least 24 years and it’s still just as bad as the first time I needed service I was told my parts were in so brought my car in this morning at 8:45 for a 9:00 appointment. Was told would be a couple hours to complete recall for parking assist. After 4 1/2 hours called and they then told me they don’t have the parts. Why wasn’t I told this within an hour i dropped off the car. So you didn’t keep it all day. So he said he was still looking For the parts. So I decided I was going to come pick up my car then when I got there he told me there were no parts there. Why is this so hard to do. This isn’t the first time this has happened to me and it is very frustrating. Please get someone that knows what they are doing or as before will have to go somewhere else for service.

I had a great experience dealing with Scott Newhart. He was very transparent throughout the entire process and had everything ready to go, making the delivery process a reality quick one. I’d definitely recommend seeing him!

Yikes. Atrocious experience. My sales rep, Pete Staib, was SO SHADY. He was completely dishonest about the availability of the vehicle I’d called ahead and talked to him about. He tried to push an entirely different car before he let us test drive AND put together a check for the vehicle I was initially interested in. We wasted a full afternoon waiting for a response he would not give us. It wasn’t until I had to call around to get a final “not available” from the dealership. This person was disrespectful. He knowingly let us wait around for NOTHING - all while leading us to believe we’d be able to move to the next steps in getting the vehicle.Funny enough, the CRV became miraculously available the next day. Of course, the dealership sent a vulture to my inbox. I won’t name that person, but they know I told them that I was incredibly turned off by this experience. Despite that, they pursued me although I’d already expressed my lack of trust in their business. But hey, I bet you thought you had an easy sale. Terrible experience.

Tom Muldoon was a pleasure to deal with. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and eager to help. He was quick to find the vehicle accessories that came with the car. He answered many questions for me and made the whole process very easy.

Jason was awesome to work with! I highly recommend him if you are looking for a new KIA. I found his name on a website someone else had left a great review for him and saw Al Serra KIA does NOT do the bs "Market Adjustment" fee. I called him and asked just to be sure and he added they sell at MSRP or below. He put me on a list of incoming Sportage's that weren't already being held for other customers. I originally wanted X-Line Black/Black + Sunroof pkg. I called and asked about the Dawning Red on the website because it had the sunroof pkg + carpets only. He said it's available. Made a plan to go buy it within a few days. Grand Blanc is 1hr 20 min north of where I live but it was worth the trip. Had I bought my Sportage in Dearborn or Ypsilanti they would have added on a $3,000 Market Adjustment. All-in-all I feel like I saved about $4,000 by going to Al Serra in Grand Blanc. The Sportage I purchased was an upgraded X-Pro in Dawning Red (which is more of a Burgundy color, not the bright red you see in the ads) and I absolutely love it!Jason was a great Sales Advisor. I told him what I wanted. He wasn't pushy at all, there was no intimidation tactics, he was quite funny. You cannot go wrong choosing Jason as your salesperson. I have told many people about Al Serra Kia of Grand Blanc and especially Jason if they are looking at getting a KIA. Thanks Jason!PS: Pretty much bought this sight unseen. Test drove a Hybrid Sportage with Turbo, my brother's 2021 Sportage, stepmom's Seltos, and just went all in with this, which is TOTALLY different than those. LOVE MY SPORTAGE X-PRO!

I went there with my grandson because he purchased a 2015 WRX the front wheel clip and insert to the wheel well came loose. Pete who is the sales person has taken over two the repairs facility at Al Serra and get a quote for the repair and when we took it back Pete and Cooper said they were going to cover the cost of that repair because it only purchased a vehicle two weeks ago. The other thing we took it in for was the engine light which showed a catalytic converter error message. We confirmed it was the catalytic and he’s gonna wait to get that done but it’s gonna be done when he has the money and probably at a repair facility at a later date.I want to extend a Thank you to Pete for taking care of this for my grandson.
