American Best does NOT honor the one year manufacturer guarantee. If you don't purchase insurance you are sol! I have been purchasing my glasses from American Best since the conception.Never had problems before. My frames broke loose at the soldier joint, manufacturing defect. (See photo) after one week of wearing.Up close, in person you can see where the Browning is 75% under the soldier joint.The person I talked to didn't even look at the soldier joint. She looked at the computer and said,"you don't have insurance, it's not covered.I will NOT be going to them anymore.They want to loose a lifetime customer over frames that cost them less than $25, that is their choice

You can't get any frames you want depending on your prescription. I've been a customer for years. Unfortunately things have changed since I've last visited. Every pair of glasses I picked, I could not purchase due to my prescription, which is a first for me. Still had to pay $69 for the exam and a print out of my prescription. Extremely disappointed and bummed needless to say.

Was treated kindly and quickly. The Dr and staff were all very respectful. I received my contact order in less than a week! Very happy with my experience thus far.

Went in to get my BRAND NEW glasses tightened, and they broke them with the machine while tightening them and then I was informed the pair I wanted to order was out of stock and they don’t have many decent looking pairs to choose from to begin with. Just ridiculous.

Sray away from here. I wanted to buy two pair one was good and one was off.they told me it was the dr that gave exam, they said nothing was wrong but one pair was very blurr.the lens was off location but they would not take blame.Bad thing is i wanted to buy two more pair.Walked out with none.Seems like they would know when the focus point is wrong.

Tried to get my prescription over the phone; the lady was extremely rude and when I was trying to get options she spoke over me and continued to be rude. Staff here are not understanding and I will not be coming back again when it is time to renew my glasses.

Not recommended I picked the 2 pair of glasses for $79.00 and when finished they wanted almost $300.00 so I just walked out very unsatisfied will never go there agian

They are the worst! I went there because my right eye was looking fuzzy when wearing my contacts. I had a -6.50 when I came in then the doctor said it could be dry eyes or you need a stronger prescription. So he gave me a -7.00 to try and said I should know if the new prescription works in a few days. If not just go back to the same script. I knew something was still wrong. So. I ended up having to go to a different eye doctor for a second opinion. To no surprise, Americas best gave me the wrong prescription!! They said I needed a lower prescription. So I went down to a -6.00 which is a huge difference! Don’t go here!! They just want you to keep coming back so they can make more revenue! They don’t care about the customer. They just care about their pockets! And I just had to renew my membership too! And pay for another eye exam and wasted my money on a wrong script.

Stuck to there word for under 100$ I got 2 pairs of glasses and everyone including Dr. Austin was very hospitable and polite

Dont know why this popped up on my phone but brought back my experience with them.. Don't know what happened to the 2 for 79 dollars but it didn't happen for me. When she finished charging it was 3 times that for one pair . Bait and switch.

The only positive I can say is that the Dr. Was very nice. When picking out my glasses the lady did not help me at all, just pointed to the wall. She didn't recommend any for my face or even say if the ones I finally picked out looked good or not. Then when my glasses came in 14days later they were wrong, then had to wait another 7days. When trying them on, the prescription literally made my eyes ache as soon as I put them on and looked around, the lady said give it time. I have since tried them on and can not wear them because they hurt my eyes. These are to strong and they won't listen. Will never go back.

Use to be great, I've been going to America's Best for years. Recently went up there to buy more contacts, and they told me that the ones I've been using (Sofmed 55, which I love) are no longer available. Their website confirms this is a lie and they are still available. Additionally, the lady told me my only option for lenses were ones that cost three times as much. I need to be able to see so I agreed to order them. They are less comfortable and I can't see as sharply as I could with my old ones. Will not be going back.

This is in response to my review I posted a few weeks ago. Americas Best responded and said to email the company. I emailed the company 10 days ago. I attached my review and Americas Best response to my review. I felt this would best explain my situation. I also left my cell and work number to be contacted at and have not yet heard from anyone.
