“The man who helped me with my passport application was incredibly friendly and patient! I’ve never come here on my own before and was a little anxious about getting the paperwork right but he made me feel a lot more comfortable.”

“The gentleman behind the counter was great! I had a package coming from Amazon that was supposed to have been delivered to my house today. When I checked on the status, it said the package was being held at the post office awaiting my pickup, per my request. I never requested for my package to be held.
I went to the post office to pick up my package, but it was not there. Even the P.O.'s system said the package was there, but, alas, it was not. The gentleman then got on the phone and tracked down the carrier to see what had happened. I left, having been told that the package would be there at the P.O. the following morning. A few hours later, I received notification that the package had now been delivered to my residence. Apparently, the gentleman got hold of the carrier and had them deliver today, as it was originally scheduled.
This gentleman went out of his way, understood and appreciated my frustration, and made things right.

“Thru some fluke of the change of address system - my address got listed as vacant after I had lived there and been receiving mail for almost a month. I was expecting a delivery of prescription glasses yesterday, but couldn’t get to my mailbox until today - when I found out my mail was not being delivered due to the wonky change of address system. My glasses (which I need for work) were not in my mailbox, along with any of my other mail. Luckily I had time to head to the post office today and see if I could pick up my mail. I arrived just in time for them to track down my package with my glasses and pick it up before it was returned to the manufacturer. I didn’t get the names of the employees which searched diligently for my glasses but I appreciate you gentleman so much for saving my day!”
“We just moved to the area. The postal person that delivers to our house is really nice and friendly. We receive our mail promptly and consistently. I’ve had to drop off packages that required a receipt and the postal workers inside always greet me with a smile and conversation. It’s my favorite post office!”

“I want to shout out Rosa, an employee at the Post office on Atherton Rd in Flint.We received a package today that was not ours. My roommate had ordered something but the shipping label fell off her package and got stuck to this package... so it was delivered to us.I took the package to the post office and the label for my roommate's. Rosa was awesome and found her package label-less in the back.She was extremely kind and incredible the whole time. Thank you Rosa!”

“This is the only post office we will go to from now on. After disturbing experiences at other post offices closer to my house, I decided to take my beautiful wedding invitations to this location to have them hand canceled instead. Juanita, the only employee who works here, exceeded my expectations and went above and beyond to ensure that each of my invitations was sent out perfectly and without any stamps from machines on them.”
