The employee working the front counter on the night of January 7th needs a lesson in interpersonal skills if they're not going to get fired. When greeted, we were asked how our night was; after replying good, we asked how his night was going, and he replied, "good until you showed up."

Never had a negative experience with a pharmacist in my life until today, I patiently waited for them to open back after lunch, pharmacist was the one helping me had zero bedside manor and when I had an issue with my prescription he was incredibly rude and acted appalled because I asked a simple question about my literal life saving drug. “I’m telling you I didn’t make a mistake” if you aren’t happy at your job please leave, taking it out on the customer never helps. This isn’t my regular rite aid but this ensures I’ll never be back.

To the owner of the Rite Aid in Grand Blanc, next to Pet Supply Plus. I was in to get our regular medicine and other items. I learned that Kellie, a long time manager, had been let go, supposedly because of missing work hours. Kellie has been a person who has helped my family for years. Especially during these times of covid. I can't remember a time she wasn't in the store when we came there. I can also remember when there were hardly any employees during the bad covid pandemic months, but Kellie was there, always a smile on her face and ready to help. Shame on you for letting her go. Your other employees don't have much good to say about you. There is not much loyalty, it seems. Except for loyal employees who are taken advantage of and let go for no reason. I'm asking everyone I know to start going to Walgreens. I would give specifics of what you did, but I don't want you to let anyone else go. The ladies at church will help pass the word. Shame shame on you.

Came in to burn 10 mins and look to see what toner shampoos they had while waiting for pet supplies plus to open. Once 9am hit I left the store to head over there. I ran into a customer that was also at Rite Aid and she I formed me the old guy at the register made the comment "oh I hope she didn't "borrow" anything" the customer was even taken back by his comment at assuming just because I didn't buy anything I was stealing. I went back to the store and confronted the employees and there excuse was my purse open.........if I stole something why would I leave my purse open!? That's the dumbest thing I've heard. Regardless of what your employees think about a customer in your store you shouldn't be talking like thar to other random customers, unprofessional and discriminatory

Terrible customer service in the pharmacy. I just witnessed the manager storm into the pharmacy area at 1:45 to say that the pharmacy is closed. I didn't care, I just got in line, but there was an elderly gentleman in front of me waiting to be served. In announcing that the pharmacy is closed everyday at 1:30 for lunch, the manager pulled the metal gate down from the ceiling almost hitting the poor man in the head and actually did graze him on the shoulder. I thought the pharmacist behind the counter might act a little more professionally, and let the older gentleman be served before closing down, but instead he too whined about already being 15 minutes into his lunch break. The man protested quietly asking if he could still go ahead since he was already in the waiting area, to no avail. I wish I had spoken up, saying that I didn't need to be served but they should still take care of the gentleman. But in the end they turned him away. I apologized to the man and we both went our way. I still can't believe the lack of customer service or even common courtesy I had just witnessed. I get that people need to have their breaks, etc., but I can't tell you how many breaks I've worked through on 10, 12, 14 hour shifts because the job needed to get done. The manner of the manager was very abrupt, discourteous, and showed no respect for the additional effort which the gentleman would have to go to in order to either return later or go somewhere else to fill his prescription, whereas I am young and healthy and it is only a minor inconvenience. I was appalled and only too happy to write this review and go somewhere else. To be fair, when I entered the store I was greeted very cheerfully by another associate.

If I could give 0 stars, I would. I went up to go purchase snacks I wanted to buy and they gave the excuse my card was declined when I checked my bank app and I had enough on the card to purchase the stuff I wanted. But they refused and voided the whole thing. Scum place don’t recommend coming here. They’re only here for the paycheck. Wasting everyone else’s time for people who actually want to work.
