We’ve relied upon them to outfit us for more than 20 years for daily needs as well as travel all over the world. Their best quality gear has kept us warm or cool, dry and comfortable from the most urban settings to the far ends of the earth. They misspelled the sign on the sale rack. It says clearance but it really means normal sale price. Lots of good outdoor gear. Bring a good amount of money for high quality products. Don’t expect low prices.

I went in wanting to try on a couple pairs of Hoka shoes and the attendant in the shoe department was extremely helpful! I have a hard time fitting shoes to my flat feet and she was very attentive with assisting me to find the right fit. I found the perfect pair and will definitely be returning in the future. It is also a beautiful store!

I purchased a "rain" jacket here to take on a 9 day backpacking trip on isle royal. The staff recommended a few that were top quality jackets seeming knowledgeable about the products. After about 15 minutes in the rain on my trip I was completely soaked. I thought maybe this was a one off but after reading countless reviews, this OR Helium Rain jacket is not waterproof. I wouldn't even say it's water resistant. I am disappointed with the lack of knowledge on the product from the staff especially when spending $170 on a rain jacket. At this price id expect a high quality rain jacket to keep my dry on my trip and the staff to know weather it holds up or not. Unfortunately, I had to end it early.

Britta deserve more then a raise, I’ve had feet pain all my life, I thought it was normal, she’s the first person in my life to take the time to tell me no it’s not normal and show me what comfort is suppose to feel like, I can wait for my new Hola Bondi 8 shoes to get in

Love this shop!! They had a great assortment of clothing for all body types, a good selection of camping gear, and every knife a young adventurer could ever want. But the best part was the staff, they were kind, helpful, and very knowledgeable. We will be back!!
