Not bad. But my local store is Wyoming mi and my people there @ the pro desk are the best. They go way above and beyond to not only help you find what you need but they truly look to you as family. Thank you to all home depot associates who help. Great job!!

The Female Service Clerk in the Paint Department was Awesome! She knew what she was doing, was Professional, Helpful, Cheerful, & Quick! Great Ideas,too! Wish we got her name, Grand Haven Store before noon!

While the selection of items is much different than the Home Depot I am used too (Grandville) this one has an awesome rental area & the customer service has been great every time I’ve came here. We recently moved to the area & it’s refreshing to receive such great service at a store that we go to often. Today Shontedra was our cashier & she was fabulous. She was SO polite & funny. It made a simple check out experience much more enjoyable. Thank you again Shontedra (Tee) for the awesome customer service!!!

We purchased our carpet from Home Depot and it comes with free installation. We should’ve been skeptical by that, however we figured that Home Depot would be sure to back whatever install job was done. They contract out the installation of the carpet to CFI. We initially got our carpet installed on Sept 2nd. The seams were not done properly, they damaged our freshly painted walls in an area of our home we are renovating. Do not buy appliances from this Home Depot. Long story short we ordered 4K in appliances. They took over 3 months to be delivered, when they showed up the microwave was wrong , fridge was wrong , stove was damaged, dryer was damaged. We were told by Brandon to come into the store to discuss the situation. Here’s where things get really bad. Brandon not only laughed at us after hearing our situation he never once ever apologized for what we’re we’re going through. Now I understand Home Depot isn’t fully responsible for the damaged products. But what they are responsible for is having managers in place that actually don’t care about the customers. The way Brandon was acting was very unprofessional. He even went as far as blaming us for what happened. We then requested a refund and had to go to the customer service desk. I asked to speak to the store manager and was told he was on his way up to the desk. 15 min later I asked where he was and was told he is coming. Well guess what he never came because he already left for the day just as he was requested to come to the front desk. We ended up going to Bekins and found they had better prices and items in stock. I will never spend another penny in the Grand Haven location.

Bought some Behr paint here and have to say it is NOT one of the better performing paints. The paint employees don't offer consistent advice on the quality of the product. Got me covered when Sherwin Williams was closed

DO NOT BUY APPLIANCES!I purchased a washing machine on June 20. I received an email that thanked me for my order, stated the order was placed and then the order was fulfilled. The email gave me a delivery day of June 29 and time frame from 7am-7pm. June 29 came around and no delivery! I called the delivery service who stated they didn’t have any information and transferred me to Home Depot customer service where I was told there was no such order number. Next I was put on hold for 10 minutes and eventually hung up on. I called back again to get another representative who told me the order was never placed, it was in the queue as an “estimate”. I informed the representative that I had the email that said the order was placed and she “fixed” the issue by placing the order herself. At this point we waited 9 days without a washing machine and then we’re told it would be another 7-10 days before delivery. I asked what we need to do if the delivery day they pick for you, doesn’t work for me as both my husband and I work and someone needed to be home. She then stated they can usually get me in for a reschedule in about a week. Then I was left a message today that there was a “glitch in the system” when my order was placed and my delivery day was moved back AGAIN! If all goes well at this point, we will be without a washing machine for 3+ weeks. We will be going elsewhere for large purchases from now on after getting the run around multiple times.

I wanted to redo my bathroom flooring so I went to Home Depot for a quote. I chose flooring that was in stock to avoid any issues with availability or high freight fees.I was quoted a price and told an installer would be calling on our appointed day at 7:30 AM. I actually received a text the day before the appointment instead. The installer was very nice, prompt, and informed me I’d get a call in a couple of days with the actual figures.A few days later I received a text message and an email telling me to call to get my quote. I noted that the phone numbers were different on the text and email…not sure why.I called the number on the email and was given a quote that cost about $700 more than what I received in the store. I am not sure why. It’s a small bathroom.We can save a few hundred dollars if we opt to not have the existing tile removed…however, the installers might still decide to rip it out when they arrive, and we will be back to paying top dollar.I asked the CSR if the quote was good for 30 days. She said yes. I then received a text message with a link to the quote but that message said the quote was good for SEVEN DAYS.Imagine my surprise when I also received an email which said the quote was good for six days!I don’t plan to utilize their services. This is the highest quote I’ve received so far. No thanks.

I live on the north side, but I think I might start taking a drive down here. Patrick is extremely helpful, very easy to have a normal conversation with, and he knows his stuff. The cashier's we very friendly and always have a warm smile.
