Both of our children have attended LHLH since they were two months old and our daughter is now 3. It has been a great experience having our children transition through all of the different classrooms as they grow. Our daughter is now enrolled in the preschool program at LHLH and the curriculum is great. I also really appreciate the app that gives real time updates of what the kids do during the day. When we first enrolled our daughter there were a few communication issues but that was quickly resolved; Ms. Anna is awesome at making sure us parents know that our children are in safe and loving hands at LHLH. All of the staff are wonderful, they all know how to handle my daughter's sassy personality and my daughter loves the staff so much.

Although our experience did not work out, here are some pros and cons. We liked that our son was able to attend part time as many daycares do not allow that option, some of the daycare staff were friendly, and the owner was nice. There were communication issues. Our 14 month old son had challenges adjusting to daycare being that this was his first time ever attending (though it was only part time). Prior to attending, I informed the director that he may have difficulties napping in a new environment. I was told it would not be a problem as all the daycare staff were “baby whisperers”. The first day I received a call that our son would not nap and they were at a loss of what to do. Almost every time we picked him up we would see him sitting by himself crying on the floor. We asked the staff how he did each day but got mixed messages, often that he was getting better with adjusting or did fine. On his fourth day of daycare, the director called informing us that all our son does at daycare is cry and that he should have been adjusted by now. While this made us very concerned, we tried to inquire more about the issues he was having and come up with a resolution but it felt like we were a bother. We went as far as to transition his naps at home to the daycare schedule to try to make things easier. We know our son had a hard time adjusting, but that is not an unexpected occurrence in the daycare industry. The last three days he attended daycare we were notified that he did not nap at all. When we inquired what he did during the designated nap times, we were told he just sat next to staff the entire time (nap time is 2.5 hours).Obviously getting COVID is almost inevitable at this point, however we did have concerns about the number of outbreaks at this facility. Our son attended this daycare for one month and was exposed on 3 separate occasions (which even includes an entire week when the daycare was shut down). When he tested positive for COVID, we inquired about sanitation and safety protocols and were met with resistance. We still to this moment never once received their formal protocol, despite them stating they would be sending it out at anytime. He attended this daycare for a total of 8.5 days and at the end all we felt was that we were a bother. When my son got COVID, we determined it would be best for both parties if he stopped attending this daycare. Furthering communication issues, when I sent my son’s enrollment withdrawal via email I never received any response.

Our 2yo has been attending LHLH since April of 2021. I was extremely nervous to how she would adjust to starting daycare since she had been at home with me for her first 16 months but she did fabulous. I was mostly nervous about nap time and though the first week her naps were short she ended up adjusting well. Any time we have had any concerns or issues, which there hasn’t been many, Ms. Anna (the director) has handled them extremely well. I’ve only “met” the owner once but my husband has had more contact with him than I and says he’s the nicest and so great with the littles! It’s been rough navigating daycare illnesses amidst a pandemic but it’s inevitable and I feel they do a great job reminding parents to keep kids home if they are unwell. I will admit the daycares covid protocols have relaxed a lot, even during the recent surges, but I also understand hands can be tied at times. I feel communication with staff (teachers) is limited, especially with constant room changes among the toddlers, but this could also just be me not engaging enough (as my husband does most of the pick up/drop offs) on top of staff changes, as some of them are currently in college for childhood development. Ms. Anna does a great job at communicating with me via email and text to keep me in the loop though. All of the staff I’ve met have been really sweet and I haven’t come across any issues with them! The app they use to keep you updated on your child is wonderful. The staff does a great job at keeping it consistently updated in real time. They do a lot of arts and crafts and I feel the curriculum is pretty on par for their ages. My daughter absolutely loves going to “play with her friends at school.” She also really adores Ms. Kennedy, Ms. Emily, and Ms. Kayla! They are super sweet gals! Ms. Anna is involved with the classrooms a lot and spends a great amount of time with all of the children which is really nice. My daughter started daycare with a hefty speech delay and that, as well as her knowledge, has increased exponentially. I give a lot of the credit to the staff and exposure to other littles for helping her navigate that. Overall I would highly recommend LHLH to any other parents looking for great care. Every place has room for small improvements but this is an amazing family owned daycare and I’m extremely happy with our decision as our experience has been wonderful!

Both of my boys go to Loving Hearts Little Hands. Excellent staff, that is very accomodating! I love that I can review their "daily report" from my phone.

My daughter has been going to LHLH for about two years now and I am so happy this is the center we chose to send our daughter to. The staff treats my daughter like she is one of their own. I feel like many staff members go out of their way to make my daughter feel happy, safe, and comforted when needed. They do many fun activities with the kids and it is always fun to hear about my daughters day! The staff is also great at communicating! :)

We LOVE LHLH and are so happy our son is there. It feels like a family environment despite being a center, and it’s clear that they are willing to go above and beyond to make sure each kiddo feels safe and secure, learns about friendships and life skills, and gets to have fun adventures. He’s truly the best version of himself there, and we can tell he’s so loved. We are so grateful for the sense of community my son has at LHLH - which can be hard for a shy kid to find in some places. Would strongly recommend if you are passionate about your kiddo getting high quality childcare.
