“Great place, great host, great art.. only thing that would make it better is if the art was labeled with its price or if the price was near it.. that Notorious B.I.G piece is NICE”
“Did an amazing job on an anniversary canvas that I ordered for my wife. I accidentally ordered the rolled canvas instead of the stretched canvas online(seperate vendor), and was freaking out when I got it. Last minute someone suggested i go here. Not only did he save the day, he saved the gift to the point I love it now more than the stretched canvas. It was a custom ordered size but they went out of thier way to help me matt and frame it in a wonderful frame that looks just like I wanted and didnt break the bank! I will never go anywhere else for all items I need work on or framed!”
“Madi and Jennifer really saved my wedding. We had a family emergency, which caused my dad to spend most of the day in the hospital. In order to give me the best chance of having my dad be there to walk me down the aisle, they rearranged the whole order and flow of the day. They came to me with options so I didn't have to figure out a plan B on my own, and made choices for me when I was too overwhelmed to think. Our day wasn't what we planned, but it turned out to be amazing because of the work these two did. I can't recommend the Harris Building enough.”
“Had the best experience doing some holiday shopping here! The owner was so friendly- I left some of the items that I planned on purchasing up at the counter while I looked around the rest of the store. I was shocked to find them wrapped up so beautifully!!! Definitely will be back, what a way to go above and beyond ?✨”
“I am a designer who has worked with LaFontsee Galleries for over twenty years. They are my primary source for artwork in Michigan. The staff is always a pleasure to work with, and the gallery is truly inspiring from the moment you walk in. Here are a few recent installations.”
“Fred and Gina Bivens host Vinecroft Studios. It is a wonderful "third place" establishment, meaning it is a meaningful place where people hang out away from home and work. It's a real community.
While it is Fred's wood and print workshop, and the place he keeps all the old typewriters and other stuff he collects; it is also where the couple host and nurture community. I'll tell you about the bit I know about. The couple hosts meetings of West Michigan Artists for the Festival of Arts, many artists are given the opportunity to sell their handmade and homemade goods to others during holidays, and every Tuesday they host a community dinner made by others in the community and paid for by the community. People's major events are honored with celebration, support, and loving kindness. You are held in love by every person in the community. It is an amazing place.”
“I’ve been here twice and both times had a very positive experience. The staff is super friendly and helpful. There are some snacks and drinks available in the back. Everything felt very organized. It’s painting, so keep that in mind when picking clothing but even my 9 year old was fine and didn’t get anything on her.
The two times I went the staff had traced out our prints (Taylor swift & pets) so I have never tried the free hand painting ones.
I will go again for sure”
