I wish I had read the reviews first before trying to transition my business account from Chase to BOA. Their business banker, Matthew, is inexperienced but great with lip service to make you believe he can get the job done. I have had ZERO follow up since our meeting last month on my needs for company initiated debiting of my customer accounts. His supervisor, Chris, begged me to give no less than an 8 star review on their performance because anything less hurts their score. How am I to rate an incomplete job? I'm trying to move $200,000 over to them but they don't care. Guess who does? LAKE MICHIGAN CREDIT UNION. They've done everything BOA and Chase can't.If you have business banking, these are not your guysUPDATE:Hi BOA: NO -- I will not follow YOUR link and complete YOUR form. YOUR banker couldn't follow up for me, so do you really expect me to do this follow up for you? No offense, I hope Matt continues to botch relationships and you lose more customers. How about you CALL ME directly? I am not the only one to complain about Matt. Sub-class workmanship and over-promising results.Customer service is a lost art. I really can't believe you just allowed me and my business to walk away so freely. Chris middaugh is very quick to wash his hands with you, highly recommend not wasting your time at this bank. Ruth was zero help, almost like 2 robots designed to shake their head no. I literally had to dumb down my questions to get them to stop lying to me, simply put. These 2 will say anything to get you to leave, instead of looking for a solution

A man named Matt and the New Employee are very polite, especially Mr. Matt, thank you for having such people. Quickly, qualitatively, thank you again

I live in Allegan county In Michigan and it's 25 miles to the closest bank now. To talk to a banker you need an appointment which must be set up online (phone service is impossible). In August I needed a recommendation letter from them and they said that I had to go to their Grandville, MI location. I was at the Wyoming, MI location. Several months later I need to see a banker again so tried to make an appointment at the Grandville Bank of America and they directed me to Wyoming location! Wondering why the change, I finally got to talk to a person in NY. She said there were no appointment openings in Grandville. I ask ever??? I'm in the process of changing banks.

This bank has been mentioned in a recent scam/fraud attempt involving my 85 year old father. He was instructed by a phone scammer to withdraw all his money from his current bank, put it in cashier's checks and take it to this Bank of America -- Cutlerville, Michigan branch for deposit to an account there. I've tried contacting the branch there to get more information and alert them that there is something suspicious happening -- but I can't get through to an actual person. Will update this status IF /WHEN I ever hear back from anyone. Meanwhile ... this is very disturbing and I hope no other vulnerable elders are being scammed, or that this bank is not unwittingly taking part in some kind of fraud.

Deposited a cashiers check. They placed a hold. Manager called the issuing bank and verified the funds. Told me he released the hold. Turns out that was false and they’re holding funds that THEY INDEPENDENTLY VERIFIED for over a week.

The banking staff was really rude, I will never go to this bank again. They wouldn’t let me get my money out even after showing them my state identification card. They had no reason to treat me the way they did.

WORST BANK EVER! they charge you for literally everything! they act like MY EARNED MONEY is theirs to keep. they want to have all my money to invest and grow but want to charge me as well for making more than 5 transactions a day and not keeping a huge balance in my checking even though i had thousands saved in my savings. TAKE YOUR MONEY ELSEWHERE!!!

Don't go here unless you have 9 -7 business days to sit in the drive thru because the lobby is closed. They also just randomly close without any heads up. So that's another cool feature.
