Books & Mortar is a cozy, cute, clean, and welcoming local bookstore. It is a small, friendly, neighborhood shop with a warm atmosphere. The selection includes popular books for adults and kids, with an incredible variety of both fiction and non-fiction, and a great local authors section. The customer service is wonderful, friendly, and helpful. Staff favorites and interesting handwritten notes provide guidance. While the selection is not huge or overwhelming, they will order any book not in stock. The shop also offers other items like puzzles. It is an absolutely gorgeous spot worth supporting.
What a great little find when I was visiting GR. The woman working there had TONs of knowledge. They have cards with peoples reviews of certain books that helped me pick out a couple..I miss book stores. Check this place out!
