I pre-paid for a rental and when I arrived at the location they stated they had no cars to satisfy the rental--that I already paid for. When I called customer service, they seems careless as if it was not their fault and that it happens often. It is not reasonable to accept payment, then be unable to produce a vehicle. I requested a refund, and over a week later was not returned the funds. I called them and they said the refund would have to be re-processed and it will be another 7-10 days. With this being said--the woman working at the rental location, was fairly professional, and handled the situation best she could. I will never rent from this company again.

Quick service. They didn't have the class of vehicle I requested, so I was upcharged for what they had. They called me while travelling and asked that I come back and move my personal vehicle, due to a no parking policy... umm, I can't. How else do you get to their office?!

Other than the insane line (2hour wait) in NY due to “weather” cancellation, the car was decent and the price was fair.

My friend and I rented a car after flying into Grand Rapids to attend a festival. The service was quick and friendly, despite the long line. The car was clean, and exactly what we needed. During our trip, I locked some valuable items in the car and unfortunately forgot about them until after we had returned the vehicle. We were able to contact them and Tina was SO helpful. She even sent my items back to me all the way across the country. Thank you, Tina! We'll see you next time we're in Michigan!

I prepaid for a small car to be good on gas traveling from Grand Rapids to Walla Walla Washington 2,100 miles. With a lot full of cars they told me I could only upgrade to an suv costing more money and bad fuel mileage every 300 miles I have to get $60 in gas it’s getting 22 mpg. The Chevy traverse smelled rotten when she gave me the key and I told her. It has 65k miles on it and the brakes are bad. I’m sitting in a truck stop 2 days behind because the phones cook you and there is no roadside. I’m in the Rocky Mountains in Montana and I’m looking ahead at steep roads with no brakes. They go thump thump thump thump and it’s dangerous. What makes me mad is as I was leaving the rental place, there was customers they arrived after me that took a small Corolla. I prepaid and pre booked that car they told me wasn’t there. Now I can’t make the return in time and I still have no brakes. I tried using the website to let them know and it says I can’t change it. I still need a car to get down this mountain. 07/10/2023 1:49 am mountain timeAt 10:37 AM Pacific time budget rental sent me a receipt saying that I already return the car while I’m still driving it the car isn’t due until noon. I am in Washington state I’m still in possession of the car the car with bad brakes and now it has a bad hub bearing, unsafe, unhappy in duress for the entire tripI already filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. I want a full refund don’t try to say I’ve returned the car when I’m still under contract until noon and it’s 1041 where I am. I’m driving the car as we speak. Now I feel threatened that I’m driving the car and you’re gonna report it stolen when my contract goes until noon, don’t rent from this companyI already filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau currently I am still driving the car I’m still under contract with the car. I am not in breach of contract and the car is not due until noon Pacific time in Walla Walla Washington. Now I feel threatened that they were going to report it stolen, very scandalous there’s no possible way for me to check the car in when I am in Washington driving on the freeway right now you are in breach of contract

Alpine store is Filthy, stinks, it's Hot. 2 ladies are Great. Seems like the landlord doesn't keep up on this establishment.

I tried to call to just get a couple simple questions answered before reserving my car and could not get the computer that answered the phone to send me to a customer service representative. I received no help only a headache and wasted time on the phone so I no longer will be renting from you guys since customer service is not convenient and I will not have a vehicle that I cannot speak to customer service about or have to go through that much to speak to somebody and still get nobody. This is absolutely ridiculous and the worst I've ever experienced in my life trying to contact the company.

Called over and over with no pick up. Droped keys in drop box super late forgot to gas up. New i made the mistake tried to call over and over no answer. Got connected to the 1800 number they said i would be charged 387 per gallon. nope 9.99 which was told when i got the rental car but i kept calling store so that i could come after work and fill it. My rental didnt expire until 4pm. was processed by 10am. When someone finally answered they said it has already been processed nothing can be done. feel they shouldve answered phone before processing as they saw me calling over and over, Not impressed

We rented a car from this location just this past week. Stella was the woman who helped us out. She is FANTASTIC! Helpful, friendly and polite; traits you just see very rarely in customer service nowadays. This was our second rental in this past year (Stella helped us last time as well) and both times, the vehicles (car this time, SUV last time) have been quite new, VERY clean and ready to go when promised/requested. We will be renting again in the future as well.

We rented from Avis for the Memorial Day weekend and, although there were a lot of customers who couldn't get cars, especially with Budget, we got ours (and an upgrade). I know the staff was overwhelmed, but they handled my reservation with kindness and even changed the vehicle to a newer model. Kudos to all of them. Returning the minivan was also very easy.

I reserved a vehicle in the morning and got a confirmation for the afternoon of the same day. I specifcally went to Budget because it appeared I could get a vehicle same day. I called the Budget information number a little later to double check and got a verbal confirmation. When I walked into the Budget rental location, I was told there were no vehicles available. The rep that was working told me she couldn't call to let me know because she didn't have a working phone number for me. She was also kind of abrupt with me. On top of this failure in customer service, after she gave me the info, she stood there and stared at me. She should have at least asked if I wanted to reserve for the next day. I would have refused it, but still.

Rented a minivan for our spring break trip down south. Was pleased with vehicle we got and prompt service all went easy and smoothly.
