They usually have a good selection and in the Amazon age, a surprising amount available to actually touch and feel for quality. I was expecting a more lax service because of previous reviews but they found an associate to help me with my basketball hoop purchase. Matt knew a great deal about their selection, went to their storage space where the inventory was, wheeled it out and helped me load it into car. Very helpful!!

Went in for walking shoes. Explained to the customer service rep in shoes what was going on with my previous pair and did he have any recommendations. He basically shrugged me off and pointed me to a pair of awful looking black athletic shoes. I mentioned I was looking for something more attractive. He kind of shrugged and didn't say anything. I said 'I'll keep looking'. I walked around and picked up a pair of Saucony, asked if he thought they may work. He scanned the shoe and said "we don't have that in your size" and proceeded to walk back to his position in the rear of the shoe department.
There was zero interest in selling me a pair of shoes and zero interest in asking me about what he could do to help me find a pair that would work for me.
I zipped out of that store fast and drove 1/4 mile to Gazelle's and got SERVICE, CARING, and INTEREST in making a sale and getting me into a comfortable / workable pair of walking shoes. I will never go back to Dicks; will get my shoes forever at Gazelle's and will tell everyone else to do the same.

I purchased a pair of Nike leggings in a large, that were on sale for $20 at the Grandville location. The large was too big but I really liked the leggings so I took them to this location for a possible exchange. They didn’t have them in stock so they decided return them on gift card and purchase a new pair online for me. When they looked online the pair that they said were coming up when scanning the pants were $50 but the pair that looked exactly like the pants online were $20. The associate stressed to me that they were right but that it would be hard for them to mark them down to $20. I said ok but are you sure those are correct because I just want these same exact leggings.I was also confused because the Granville location had no problems marking them down. So he grabbed a manager they said that they had to put money on a gift card (to offset the price and get them down to $20) as well as try to use my gift card to reorder them but that the system Doesn’t like using two gift cards. I said no problem. I’ll just keep the gift card because I’m here all of the time and I’ll pay with my credit card.Long story longer, I paid double for Nike leggings that were on sale for $20 and once they arrived they were the wrong leggings. Oh also when I went to use the gift card, the balance was $0. Just go to the Grandville location.

Stock at this store is never correct. I’ve came two different times looking for a specific football as the website tells me it’s in stock although they never have this football in stock, the website is never correct as they don’t bother to change inventory and thus I waste time & gas looking for something that’s not even there.

Dont stand behind thier products. Management lacks ALL customer service knowledge and are unwilling to help with any resolution that does not benefit them.

The price on the box clearly says $10.99 and your "sale" charged me an extra dollar for an item. That's wild. Doesn't make any sense. Everything is overpriced.

I bought a new tennis racket two days ago from this location and it broke immediately, and Dick’s will not accept the return. There is no benefit to buying from Dick’s over Amazon. If I bought it from Amazon, I’d have gotten it for cheaper, had a wider selection, and gotten it replaced immediately. Not worth the trip to the store.
