This has always been a favorite go to for shoes, but today I was very disappointed with the customer service. I was struggling with my kids and the girl wanted all my information. I asked to just ring me up as she was struggling to find my account. I didnt care I just want to get out with my kids who were oviously being a handful. She preceded to check me out, throw my change on the counter and walk away with out saying "thank you or have a good night" .....I wanted to say something to her politely but she took off and I was arms full with a baby and toddler. PSA have some extra patience and grace for moms with little kids or just anyone clearly struggling.

Love my shoes.. I always spend too much when I come in here! But it's a shoe store, what girl wouldn't?! They have a large clearance section which is nice.. They also order for you if your size isn't in-store.. (common occurrence wearing 7½) Also love that it is in a plaza with other stores, aka more shopping🤑

They sent me a display shoe thats stained for my order. I didn’t get the shoes in the store because they were stained and they told me order online which i did and still got the stained shoes instead of them sending new unstained shoes. Crazy they would send a display shoe as a new pair to a customer in the mail.

Went to DSW tonight very quickly for a pair of shoes for my daughter for a service academy formal. Knowing what we were looking for, but also on a time crunch. We walked in the store at around 7:40, they close at 8. My daughter was literally putting the last pair of shoes in the box to wrap up our choices and the manager promptly walked over to inform us that they were closed, it was 8:07. The rudeness this retail manager displayed with her tone was totally unacceptable. If my daughter didn’t have to have these shoes I would have put both pair back and walked out on a $100 purchase. I’m sure these are the same people that show up at a restaurant at closing asking for the full menu even though they don’t follow the same retail guidelines at there own store. So note to future customers, if your in a bind and need shoes close to DSW closing time they don’t want the sales they just to leave by 8:30 as we were told.

DSW has started using third party (The Retail Equation) who determines if you can make a return or not. I purchased 4 pairs of shoes 10 days ago. Two of the pairs did not fit well so I went to return them and was denied the return. So I am stuck with shoes that cost $100 and do not fit. I was not given a reason why the return was denied but after doing a little investigation I learned the company who they use determines whether you are a fraud risk based on your shopping habits. No warning given. I have never committed a fraudulent purchase or return. I will also never shop at DSW again. There is a long list of retailers who have started using this service so I will be wary of where I shop in the future.
