What makes this location one of the best is the employees. Numerous occasions, I've had to ask for help with an item or had them put some behind the register while I shop, etc, and every single person has been extremely warm and friendly. They have great attitudes and are happy to help out with whatever the need be, far exceeding typical great customer service standards, and it's such a welcomed pleasant experience each time I visit. Specifically today, Alyssa and Karina were working, and despite the store being a little busier for them with checking people out, they had smiles on their faces and handled what they had to do without ever getting frustrated or taking it out on the customer in some fashion. Alyssa was super helpful and did so without making me feel like a nuisance or feeling rushed. Karina and her worked great as a team to get all of us checked out while we all were conversing and laughing. It was a stress and anxiety free interaction and an especially enjoyable visit today because of these two employees. This location is one of my favorite goodwill stores because of the continued positive atmosphere that both Alyssa and Karina, along with all the other employees, constantly create here.

I was finishing in the dressing room just as they were closing and they kept banging on the door multiple times to tell me they were closed— basically harassed me while I’m trying to get dressed less than 2 min after they closed. I will not be going back to this location; there’s so many other great thrift locations near by.

Okay choices. Store seems clean enough. Staff mostly seems unhappy. I should have told my kids to stop touching stuff sooner during the checkout, that's on me. But they weren't being destructive. So there wasn't a reason for the woman working to rudely ask them why they touch everything then say something about her mom's five finger rule.

Honestly, this location is strange. I live thrifting and go often and this is the only location around that locks both bathrooms and fitting rooms. Also, they never seem have the keys for the fitting rooms? It’s odd . It’s happened three times recently. You’d ask to get in and they’d claim no one had keys. (This is not the fault of the workers, they seems great). There was also a worker who was very ill (hyperventilating and complaining he felt light headed) who checked me out at the register recently. I watched him tell a manager how ill he was and he was ignored. I felt terrible for him. I should have said something to stick up for him and regret that I didn’t.

This use to be my favorite store to shop at. The new management is VERY rude to customers as well as the employees. I've witnessed it myself and spoke up for that person and had to defend myself on things that they priced wrong BUT i still paid the price they claimed it to be. The stuff Is Free people and beside that they are getting more expensive than the mall now. I stopped donating to them for this reason. I take my stuff to free place now. GOODwill is not what it use to be.. I understand they are doing phenomenal things BUT god don't like GREED!!!

This store is bigger and cleaner then some other locations in Grand Rapids and seems to have higher standards in what they put out on the floor. If you rely on public transportation there's two different buses that stop right in front of it. I do find the prices to be a little steep but as I said, the items they put out are gently used.

So I'm checking out and ask for a bag. I didn't realize Goodwill didn't give bags out anymore. That's what the guy told me. So I had to take the stuff out in my arms to my car, and I'm disabled. As I'm walking out, an able bodied, very pretty foreign woman is checking out with the same man and asks for a bag. He reaches down and gives her one!!! Wow.Disabled parking is on an incline. Not ideal for a disabled person who needs to get stuff out of their cart. The cart will roll away.
