## Impact Powersports: Buyer Beware - A Frustrating Used Golf Cart Ordeal
**Disappointed Customer Shares Months-Long Struggle with Unfulfilled Promises**
I'm writing this review to warn potential buyers about my experience with Impact Powersports. In June 2024, I ordered a "special order" used golf cart with the promise it would be "like new" and ready within two weeks. However, what followed was a series of delays, broken promises, and ultimately, an unsatisfactory product.
Here's what went wrong:
* **Unrealistic Timeline:** Despite assurances of a quick turnaround, the cart took **over two months** to be delivered, with constant excuses about parts backorders and weather.
* **Delivery Issues:** Even after the extended wait, the cart arrived with several problems: a shoddy paint job, dirty wheels, a faulty battery charger, and incorrect wheels.
* **Poor Communication:** Impact Powersports staff, particularly Kathy, were initially helpful, but communication became unresponsive as problems persisted. Emails and calls were ignored, and management remained unapproachable.
* **Multiple Repair Attempts:** The cart went back for repairs twice, but each time it returned with unresolved issues. The brakes continued to malfunction, and the wrong wheels were never replaced.
* **Missing Paperwork:** Requests to see the signed Terms & Conditions document were met with delays and ultimately, an unsigned copy.
* **Unappeasable Resolution:** When I finally requested to cancel the order and receive a refund, I was told there were "no refunds" for used units.
**The Final Straw:**
After a frustrating summer of dealing with this mess, I arrived in September to pick up the cart, only to find it abandoned on the showroom floor with minimal repairs done. It was clear that Impact Powersports had no intention of resolving the situation to my satisfaction.
**My Advice:**
If you're considering buying a golf cart from Impact Powersports, especially a used one, I strongly advise you to look elsewhere. Their unreliable communication, unacceptable delays, and inability to deliver a functioning product make them a risky choice. There are better options out there that will value your business and deliver on their promises.

I want to share our unfortunate experience with Impact Powersports. My husband and I purchased an 800cc quad, excited to have something new, but it quickly turned into a frustrating ordeal. The quad broke down at least six times within the first year. When we had a big snowstorm, we even had to hire someone to plow our driveway because the quad, which had barely been used, wasn’t working.
The service center's management has been disorganized, and the owners, particularly Drew, have shown little regard for their customers. We paid for a 5-year warranty to ensure reliable service, but when the quad first broke down, it took them months just to pick it up and "fix" the issue. Unfortunately, the problems continued, and it was a constant back-and-forth to get things resolved.
In addition, we purchased a 90cc quad for our kids, and after just one day, it stopped working. When we looked into it, the wires were chewed up, and when we called Impact, they mentioned it might be due to squirrels. Their solution? They replaced the damaged wires with electrical tape. It was an incredibly frustrating and disappointing experience.
While a few employees there genuinely seem to care, Drew’s lack of professionalism and disregard for customer care has left a lasting negative impression

It wasn't good.... If we could give a -0-, we would.
First off, they said we would have it in 3 wks. We got it in 6 wks. We ordered one with blinkers and a rear safety bar , it came without them. They take it back, they have it another 3 wks. Then when we finally get it back, it came back with different tires and rims. Used Tires when they were New tires. We are not even sure it's the same cart. Then we ride it for the first time, and not a 1/4 mile down the rode, The rear left tire falls off and goes rolling down the road . All the lug nuts are gone. We didn't contact them about it. They are very hard to talk to. They don't like you asking any questions.
We are just happy to be done with them. We would not recommend them to anyone.

I love my golf cart! It is exactly what I wanted and the staff at the Rockford store are amazing! They made sure my cart was perfect for me. I chose a metallic blue color and they matched the color perfectly! I definitely recommend them to my friends. 🥰 ☹️REVISED REVIEW! I love the way my golf cart looks, but I'm very unhappy with what my mechanic told me. He said that he couldn't believe that they sold me a cart with a belt in such bad shape. He said he's surprised that it didn't leave me stranded! Before buying it, I was told that it's checked over twice to be sure it's in good shape. The fuel filter and air filter were super dirty also. You'd think that if you spend $9000, you should get a cart in good mechanical shape! Obviously they only try to make it LOOK beautiful, but don't care about the mechanical shape of the vehicle. I'm very disappointed in this business. They're so nice on the surface, but poor quality with their products.

I bought a quad from impact powersports on Plainfield back in 2018. It was a good machine, and lasted well. only had troubles the last few months. I paid impact to do a new carb, fuel lines, clean the tank and some other various things. it kept quitting a few times. to make things right they ended up upgrading me to a 2024 better quadrunner. fully recommend this company. family owned and honest! I admire people who stand behind their product no matter what it takes to satisfy the customer! I would provide pictures of the new quad, but I don't see an option to do so. this ended up hitting the pockets of this company though, and even though that was the case, they did it anyway... thank you @IMPACTPOWERSPORTS

I was sold a golf cart that they said they would get me the best one they had. Went to get my cart painted and it no oil in it I called them and they said it was 100% checked and there is no way I didn’t hardly drive it. I was told it was purchased as is and to check eBay for a new motor. There is no way it was ever checked now I have to put a new motor in it and the belt was also broken all the way through. I have as much in this golf cart that I would have in a new one do not go here
