I was blown away with the amazing customer service! They really listened to what I wanted and gave me timely follow-up communications. I truly felt that genuine, caring service you look for when making a meaningful, valuable purchase! Jared on 28th is the best Jared I've been to (I've been to a few).

Very, very pleased with our experience at Jared. Mike was the one that helped us, and we couldn’t be happier with his professional, attitude, hospitality, treatment of costumers and his all around knowledge of the industry!The entire staff was friendly and helpful! We bought our engagement right and wedding bands there and will be buying all diamonds in the future as well from Jared.

Brought my ring in to be sized today. The jeweler would not size it because it is a send out for the type of adjustment needed, and since I did not purchase the ring from Jared, they would not accommodate. Took my ring to the mall and they size my ring no problem. I’m surprised that they will only accommodate product sold by them. Jared money lost and Zales, money gained.

I try not to write reviews as I also work in customer service and know what it is like having people post but I had a horrible situation happen. My husband purchased my engagement ring here in 2022 and when bringing my ring in to get inspected last week I asked about the possibility of swapping out the prongs from white gold to yellow gold (to match the rest of my ring) they said this can absolutely be done and was included with the warranty. I went to pick it up a few days later and my worst nightmare happened. The head/prongs were 100% different than what my original was. 100x thicker. It made the whole look of my ring different. Travis the manager said he would work with me but that “just like Chevys” models/makes change over time but are still considered the same. He brought it to the shop and the jeweler shaved it down not once but twice. He said there was not much else they could do but to give it a few days and see how it felt. I also noticed it made a HUGE change in the space of my engagement ring to wedding band. He kept pressuring me into trying to get them soldered together as well which I mentioned more than once I did not want to do. Went in a few days later after still hating the way it looked and basically the only thing I was told is I could purchase a new head for $400… which is almost as much as my original setting cost. It never felt like we were working together, rather they were being defensive. I wish I would’ve been told before they swapped them out that there could be a potential chance it would look different. Or give me the option to pick one out that was similar to my first one at lesser/no cost since this was a Jared’s mess up.Also, the Grandville and 28th St Jared’s need to get on the same page because I was told different things at both locations.I am now feeling extremely frustrated and to the point where I want to just return my ring to them and go elsewhere.

I haven't worn my engagement ring in years - it was beautiful, but not very practical at my job (RN). For our 25th wedding anniversary, my husband and I decided to get it remade. Michael and the staff at Jared were incredible! I went in there with a very generic sense of what I might want and they helped me streamline and decide. I wanted a matching wedding band with my kids' birthstones and when I mentioned that one of my twins jokingly said that their birthstone should be larger than their singleton sibling's stone, Michael made the twins' birthstone a rectangle and the other one round and, therefore, smaller, lol.Once I saw the design, we emailed back and forth to tweak a few things and then they started making the final product. It is gorgeous and fits perfectly - exactly what I wanted! It definitely wasn't cheap, but I will treasure it. The staff here did a fantastic job!

If i had the option of leaving no stars, I would have! Just had a really unpleasant experience at Jared's Kentwood location on November 19, 2023 that left me truly disappointed. After receiving a call on November 14, 2023 about a promotion they were having, my wife and I went into the store around 12PM on November 19, 2023 and were completely ignored by not 1, not 2 but 3 different employees while I was looking at a watch that I was going to purchase. They literally walked past us without an acknowledgement or anything so my wife and I decided to leave. Truly disappointed as this has never been my experience at this Jared location as I've purchased multiple items here, including engagement/wedding rings, Valentines, just because, etc. Not sure about future visits to this location as I don't like to spend money where I'm not respected.
