I didn't find a good selection of women's winter boots nor a backpack that had a laptop compartment and most of the things I did look at were either cheap or outdated (fashion- wise). Seems like they're struggling to appeal to shoppers under the age of 60.

0 stars. My fiancé and I went in on the 17th of November. We were trying to look for maternity clothes but every employee we saw stared at us very weirdly and didn't seem at all pleasant. It was soon apparent that we were being followed around by them. God, if you think someone's about to steal or be a problem and want to keep an eye on them at least make it less obvious. Won't be back.

According to your website if no receipt is available a voucher can be issued. However, when I went in yesterday without a receipt for an item I paid cash for I was told I could not get an exchange or get in store credit/voucher. Very misleading.

JCPenney was having a sale, buy one pair and get the other pair 50% off on Levi jeans. When checking out at the counter, the cashier said that there was no discount on the Levi Jeans. Instead of sending an employee to check for this discount. They sent me to take a picture to prove that there was a sale going on. Keep in mind, there were four employees that weren’t doing anything behind the counter that could have checked. When confirming the sale, they said that it wasn’t valid as it wasn’t the same brand of jeans when in fact both were Levi. None of the employees could figure out the issue and said to go to the second floor to deal with the issue. When prompted about getting the manager to help, they said “it would take too long.” A line had formed and would rather not deal with a mess of poor management and have others wait on incompetent workers. Would not go back to this JcPenny until better training and management is placed.

Was purchasing bedding, sheets, pillows, and towels July 31. There was no one, and I mean no one working on the second floor. I finally called the store and asked for check out assistance. No one came. A security gentleman took pity on us and found a shopping cart for us. We had to then go down to the first floor to check out. Deplorable customer service.
