Unfortunately, this is a negative review. I renewed my script by phone and was told it would be ready the same day at 7:00 pm. I made it out the next afternoon to pick it up, the medication was on back order. No phone call to let me know, the pharmacy technician offered no alternatives nor explained to me how to handle the issue. I wasted over an hour driving back and forth in a snowstorm, Thanks Meijer, I will let Family Fare handle my prescriptions in the future.

They had me drive to their pharmacy, then back home because I forgot a card and then all the way back to their pharmacy only to tell me I can’t pick up my script for another few days. Mind you I called two separate times to double check and make sure I was able to pick it up And both times they said yes. So obviously I was pretty upset about it but I didn’t know who to speak to or if there is anything that could even be done after I felt they ran me around for over an hour. But after speaking with their pharmacist, Kaden(spelling?), he at least understood why I was upset and handled it very well. I’m not gonna lie, I was pretty upset, and it took everything for me not to get loud with my frustration level up but it’s kind of hard to stay upset at somebody that genuinely understands what happened and didn’t brush me off. And I’m very appreciative of that. He was professional, understanding, and sympathetic towards the situation and he helped me with a solution to the problem.

I love Meijers. I can always find anything I'm looking for prices are decent. I always compare above Walmart Which may not sound great but I don't know what your level is ... I can always find some thing affordable with a hometown team logo I've never had an issue with anything I've gotten there ( including returns ) If you're in a pinch for some jeans or something in a vacation the clothing is not top-notch, but it's definitely fit for every day where

Prescription is NEVER ready on time. This time they said I had to call and request a refill, which isn’t true. I request refills through my doctor. Website also said my prescription was filled 5 days ago, but prescription is not ready.

One is too generous of a rating. Went to pick my prescription up Tuesday, but there wasn’t a refill. I called the doctor they called the refill in and Thursday I go back to pick it up. The snotty girl in the pharmacy says they don’t have a prescription. I call the doctor right there. The doctor said it was called in Tuesday. And confirmed location. The pharmacy girl then said that the doctor called on Monday, the day before I requested the refill and canceled the script. Which is not possible and the doctor denied.Terrible customer service

horrible customer service. My vet called a script in on Tuesday. Thursday they didn't have it. I called the vet from the pharmacy on speaker phone. the vet confirmed the script was called in to the right pharmacy. the very rude employee came back and said the vet called on Sunday and cancelled the script. the vet said they did not call on on Sunday or even work on Sunday. don't trust Meitner with your health or your pets health.

I always fill out the express checkout attached to the ready notification before I pick up my prescription. Today Kerri scanned my barcode one time and could not get it to work. Why does Meijer provide a code if the employees are unwilling and unable to use the code? She was completely rude when I asked why I had provide a birthdate. That information is not necessary when you do the express checkout. Either train your employees better (this is not the first time I have had this problem) or do not send the express checkout link. It’s a waste of time.

So, this pharmacy needs to get its act together. When a doctors office calls in a prescription, it doesn't matter if a different prescription of the same meda was filled and picked up a week prior, YOU DO NOT TAKE FILLING A SCRIPT INTO YOUR OWN HANDS BECAUSE YOU THINK ITS NOT RIGHT. YOU FILL IT!!The person needs it. Obviously the doctors office and the patient conversed to have the script filled.YOU ARE NOT A DOCTOR!! YOU DO NOT HAVE THE RIGHT TO MAKE A CHOICE WETHER OR NOT TO FILL SOMETHING.

Most of the time I get my medicines here they have decent service.. Although, some prescriptions were not filled after being informed they were ready.. I'm guessing it depends on who's working at those times.. everytime I go it's a different experience..

Ordered a refill 1 week ago, for 4 days showed in progress on my Meijer RX app, calling the store is impossible since nobody answers the phones. Looked after 6 days said it was filled 4 days earlier (which wasn't true). Drove 25 minutes one way to go pick it up and told me they were waiting for prior approval for the prescription, told me to go talk to the drop off window attendant, he said not covered under my insurance and was $110 for a tube of cream, didn't even say well if you use GoodRX you can get it for $25, I told them to keep it and just had all my prescriptions transfered to another pharmacy. After 3 months of using this pharmacy both in Cascade and Caledonia/Kentwood store I can't take it anymore. What a group of incompentent people and very rude if you ask a question.

Meijer pharmacy on Plainfield ave is absolutely horrible. The Pharmacist, Jordan (a woman) is discriminatory and judgmental if you're on a controlled substance. She is extremely rude and disrespectful when she never had even met me but would not fill my prescription even though my doctor called her and Jordan wouldn't even answer my doctors phone call. This woman has no business being a pharmacist. When a doctor prescribes a medication then the pharmacist should do her job and fill it!!! She shouldn't be allowed to base her personal opinion of a particular medication and then refuse to fill it. She's not a doctor!!!! She is the worst person to deal with and I will NEVER fill a prescription at Meijer Plainfield pharmacy ever because of the nasty abuse I suffered from Jordan!!! She should be fired for being so awful to customers!!!
