I worked with the credit union on our cottage build and conversion to traditional mortgage. I have been a member for many years but did not know they did this type of lending. They were A+ from beginning to end.

Every time I call member services, the people sound like they are half asleep and do not want to be there. They are rude and can barely answer my questions. If it wasn’t for on-line banking and my 35-yr membership, I would pull out.

Changing credit unions, theyre terrible, even with only one branch left theyre still impossible to deal with. They will deny almost every online purchase like its 1923 instead of 2023. If you love not having access to your own money theyre great, otherwise 2 thumbs down.

Meijer credit union is the worse credit union I have ever been with. Transactions don't get paid, but the money comes off my account. They shouldn't be in business.

Normally I have no problem with them I called in to do a stop pay on a ACH. They did process it correctly. It went through but my rent didn't. They did credit the return fee of 35 00 and the stop pay of 30.00. But I feel that they are responsible for the 50.00 extra that I nowchavevtobpay on the rent doctor the check being retrun. They refuse saying that it is not their responsibility. I feel it is . If they had done their job correctly the first time. I wouldn't be in this position now.Plus when I had called in couple times on this. I got the same rep on the phone. And her response was can get fo you for this time.That is how they answer the phones.

Worst experience, ever. Brenda was rude! There are definitely better places that are equipped to handle larger financial deposits.

I have had the best experience with MCU. They're on top of making sure your purchases are your purchases and keep track of your account balances. I don't think I'll be leaving any time soon.

Meijer Credit Union is terrible. They charge you for every random thing they can think of and then set up all kinds of red tape for you to get your money back or "fix" the things they are charging you for. If your account is inactive for 2 years, they give your money to the state. Don't waste your money here. Go to LMCU.

I just started banking here and Katy has been the best with customer service always answering my questions quickly and going what I feel is above and beyond. I’ve had so many questions and they’ve all been answered in a timely manner sometimes even out of banking hours.

So the very rude manager at the GR location. Couldn’t answer a question about my funds that they took from me. I had paid for something on Dec 2nd and it was pending /hold. So an Electronic payment came out on the 7th for something else after I talked to a customer service rep on the 6th who was aware of what was going on about my account. Meijer C.U took money from a purchase that was already paid to pay a NSF fee for the item that I could not stop as I told the lady yesterday. I was informed that I could not stop the transaction and she informed me that she will reverse the NSF fee one time. I was grateful for that. But she never informed me that they would take the fee from the purchase that was pending to make me have 2 NSF FEES. I called and the rudest most entitled manager got on the phone and was so unprofessional. She did not want to hear me I asked her the same thing about 4 times before she answered it. I then asked for someone else higher then her she said there is none! I said yeah right everyone has someone over them she then said I will have my manager call you… get this… after she gives them a detailed version of her story.I asked for her manager name at least 6 times before she said her name is Sandy. I can only imagine how she is to the other people that’s like me. Also, she locked my debit card I’m assuming after we talked… with my money on there. Wow! Welp I know what I need to do. I am definitely not welcomed here! I should have looked at the reviews before signing up… this credit union is a 1 star!
