I was able to walk in (for a mani-pedi) and get immediately put into a seat for my pedicure. The pedicure was ah-mazing! On to the manicure.....I had my nails grown out to a nice "I'm retired" length. The nail tech never asked me anything & cut my first nail down to working length. I wasn't happy but it was too late. When I told her that I hadn't wanted my nails cut short she left a little length on the rest of them but still cut them all back. She did not push my cuticles back, much less trim them. She missed the sides of my thumbnails with polish. I pointed that out to her and she still missed part of one. Once dry I noticed a bubble in the polish on one nail. This was my first & last time to this salon. I tried it out because of the good reviews that I saw posted, I was seriously disappointed ?. Pretty sure it was just the nail tech I got.

I had such a wonderful experience today at Modern Nail Studio!! I had a pedicure by Leena that was so relaxing and she did such a great job. Then I had a full set pink and white French tips done on my nails and Ericka did them absolutely perfect! Ericka was so sweet and made sure I was happy with my nails as I have my daughter’s wedding this week. I am so happy to find a nail salon that I love!

Vi is the best! She always gets my nails looking fresh and just right! And they last so long!!

I walked in. It was the first time I had been there. I didn't have to wait at all & I got the first available tech. Her name was Julie. She did a very good job but very quiet.
Cleanliness: Everything was clean & tidy.

My favorite place to go to get my nails done they are very professional and if you and make sure that they are completely solid before you leave I've never had a bad experience there I love the time they spend on each costumer and making sure that you are satisfied with your nails before you leave
Requested style: Whenever I go there they know not to have any sharp edges on my nails and to make sure they're they're smooth and and rounded I always get a square around it because my profession to make sure that I'm not hurting any of my patients
Cleanliness: The cleanliness is immaculate and never see it and unclean and there's always somebody cleaning after customers leave
Stylist: Whenever I go to modern nails I always select first available they've done a perfect job every single time I go in never have to worry about anything

I get a dip with Linh. He does an excellent job and I’ve had no problems what’s so ever. No bubbling top coat like another place I tried. Always stick with what works even tho it maybe farther to drive! Salute Linh and his crew! These dips last a month!

Modern Nails is a very nice salon. One of the best in the Grand Rapids area. Everyone is friendly and does great work. I have always been very happy with any service I have had.

I made Modern my only nail place several months ago due to the consistency with staff, cleanliness, and ease of scheduling. Erika is very talented and quick; she shapes my nails exactly how I like them. All the other nail techs are kind and skilled. They take their time to make pedicures relaxing and comfortable.
