Prices here are all over the map, so check the tag of whatever you just found before you decide if you love it, but there are some really great deals tucked here and there. They are also the ONLY store in the city to carry women's size 4 and 4.5 shoes, and I'm very grateful that they do!

Unbelievable selection of shoes from top designer brands. If you don’t see any items right at Nordstrom Rack, go to their website and they will many times send you items right from the original Nordstrom’s. You can still always return right at the store in Grand Rapids when something doesn’t fit or you don’t like it. No hassle if mailing it back. Nordstrom’s has always been a store known for carrying great brands that are great quality.

I don't shop here as often as I did years ago especially since the women's clothing options seem to mostly be brands that I personally don't wear or consider quality, but I do find good deals on shoes (especially brands like Dr. Marten and OnCloud) and handbags. The makeup department is literally the same as retail prices so I'm not sure why it even exists but I'm sure someone finds it convenient.

I have a few ideas to improve the customer service at the rack in Grand Rapids, MI location 1. Get rid of the Grinch green tee shirts with the big blue dots on them and jeans. To back to dresses, skirts, sweaters, and pants for the women, Shirts and ties for the men's dept and sport coats. Teach the sales associates how not to be rude with the customers and to treat the customers as if they were a bother to them. Hire store managers that are not bullies that have some idea on how to run a store that is not the lunch room in a middle school and get rid of the cliques so that every ones feels valued not just a selected groups, don't schedule you older associate on only nights and weekends that is when the high and collage students are schedule, rotate weekends and not schedule the same people every holiday and weekend. also make a effort to keep some of you experience older worker and not terminate them just because they are older.
