I should have known better…
There are huge swaths of my vehicle that did not get clean. I paid $22 for the best wash. My windshield has dirt I can wipe off with my finger. My side mirrors are practically untouched. The back of my car has a dirt mohawk.
Every Tommy’s is the same. I should have known better.

Sign up and get your 1st “the works” free’ quality car wash does the best i’ve experienced and by creating an account with the app allows you to use faster lanes that recognize your plate and allows tot right in. you can get all wash you want or pay per wash. In Rockford the closest is plainfield but it’s worth the drive

My car still had bug guts on Tuesday front when I was done. But at least they were sealed in with a fresh coat of wax to get them nicely sealed in ????

For staff are friendly, nice and courteous very helpful when I had some questions. However, I do think they are a bit pricey, and there are more cost effective car washes; which ended the same result.

Great car wash! Went up north and my car was pretty dusty and it came out completely clean! The free vacuums and floor mat washers are a great perk as well.

The Tommy’s Plainfield location is the worst Tommy’s car wash of any of them out there. The owner or manager does nothing to fix any issues here. This is unfortunately my home location so I don’t really have a choice. Issue one, the first sprayers at the entrance rarely ever work. If you see them working take a picture, you just saw a miracle. Issue two, the spinning towels at the exit never touch your vehicle to remove any excess water. Why are they even there? They are obviously not positioned correctly, so why hasn’t anybody adjusted them. It has been like that for over a year, nobody there has noticed this? Nobody could lift a finger to do any work there to make sure things are adjusted properly? I have a large SUV, I could not imagine having a small car. The towel wouldn’t get closer than a foot from your car and this is no exaggeration. Why haven’t either of these issues ever been addressed? The vacuums are also often broken. The hoses fall out of the handle and have very weak suction. Why are the hoses merely inserted into the handle with nothing holding them together? I have gone to Grandville, Jenison, and Kentwood locations and it is amazing that all these locations seem to work flawlessly, yet the Plainfield location is a dumpster fire displaying the Tommy’s name. Mister Car Wash is just a mile down the road, and it might be time to make the switch from this pathetic location.

I like the trackless conveyor the use for vehicles to ride on versus those archaic guard rail tracks you have to maneuver into. Outside they have floor mat cleaning machines you can use in addition to vacuums. They do a nice job there.

Their car wash broke off my antenna off my truck. I had a fleet business membership there for years. They would not replace it or do anything. They did not even say sorry that Happened. They decided they'd rather terminate my business now and in the future then pay for a single antenna. Already talked to the manager. He told me there's nothing they could do and would basically rather lose my business than help. He hung up the phone on me. So no need to write a response here management. I already received one.

I generally like it! I do the monthly thing. I will say there have been numerous times where they close for “services” or something for an unknown length of time. Otherwise just lovely
