Had a very hard time with United Bank. A continuous problem with this bank is getting locked out of our bank accounts for online banking. Good luck trying to get back into our accounts by getting them unlocked. Their accounts specialist by the name of Sarah Gilman did nothing to help us other than to tell us to do the same thing we have done for multiple days. She refused to manually reset our password. Tried calling the bank manager Joe Manica with no luck either. I would not recommend United Bank to anyone as a primary bank.

I have not received a mortgage statement within 3 days of the due date in the last 3 months that was here ontime to pay the payment, something internally? I like to pay on time, frustrated

If there was less than a star I would give it. Like most people, I like to think of myself as a savvy guy financially. I do my best to keep up with taxes, manage money effectively, and take the right precautions to protect my assets. Unfortunately, as citizens we have to work with financial institutions that historically and presently are incompetent when it comes to their primary business, managing and storing people's money.United Bank is chief among incompetent financial institutions, and here is why. (1) They moved my assets from my account without permission, (2) they gave those assets to an unknown to me financial institution, (3) In trying to have my fun released to me, I was given wrong information and only emailed that the information was incorrect, and (4) When I was able to loginto there backwoods level, inception email protal, I was told that the new document that I had to fill out because I was given the wrong information could not be processed because I submitted it on the date it was due.Hmmmm, so we have United Bank, a floundering financial institution, NOT taking responsibility for their actions, they misled their client, and they use technology from the late 90's. Does this sound like an institution that will keep your assets protected? Do you really want to give your hard earned money to a pace that will so easily dissolve your assets and chuck them to another company without consent?I don't know about you, but I have seen children manage money better than United Bank. Do yourself a favor and go to any other bank besides United Bank. They will only disappoint you, and make your financial life more difficult.*My comments are based my personal experience, and are opinions. I love everything about this bank except their mobile banking app and online banking. Even my loan officer told me not to use the mobile app because it is so lousy. Five years on and I still can't make it work.
