This is the BEST USPS location around, we live closer to the Eastern location but that location is NOT good, i drive out of my way to come here instead because the staff is always incredibly nice, helpful, and patient. This location is always stocked with stuff you might need, and always clean!

Want to take a moment to acknowledge an employee here that single handedly restored my faith in good contact at USPS as a whole. I live in New York, and shipped an electronic here to a customer in Michigan. The address was wrong, and the customer filed a return. Before I accepted to refund him, I dug a bit deeper and filed a service request. A man named John, called me personally twice at hours where he should have been at home telling me he would remedy this - and he did. Two calls from him, back to back on a weekend saying he located it and fixed it and it would be to my client the coming week. John, if you're reading this thank you very much and your dedication to my issue inspired me. I hope you get a raise! You deserve it!

I arrived at my post office in East Town at 4:55. I waited in line behind someone for 6 minutes and when the person in front of me finished they asked me what I needed. When I explained that I needed to mail something overnight she explains that she can't stay past 5:00 and that I would have to drive downtown. Not helpful. I didn't derive at 5:00.

Clerk who helped me - with long black hair - was so nice and cheerful. Just the person I needed to encounter today. Yes, I was just mailing a package, but she put a smile on my face.

Don’t expect any help or proper communication there, wasting your time with unclear directions and then blame you for not knowing how to do their job.

I worked with Pocahontas who went above and beyond today. I had issues with my bank so I couldn’t actually use the post office for my transaction, but she was dedicated, kept my transaction suspended and even came back over her lunch to attempt the transaction. Thanks to her service I have a renewed faith in the post office and she was by far the best postal service employee I have ever interacted with!

The supervisor Heather is an absolute abomination of humanity and should seriously ask herself what she did to end up a supervisor of a post office. Avoid at all costs. Downtown Post office is worth it to avoid this place

Every time I go to this location, it is heavily understaffed. There’s 2 employees. 1 lady at the counter, and 1 lady that hides in the back. The lady in the back pops out at least one time when I am there to ask if anyone needs anything dropped off with no receipt. Then she disappears into the back. The service is sooo slow with no sense of urgency and the line is almost always to the door. The lady in the back should be helping at the front counter if possible to help the service run smoother. Multiple people leave the line and walk out the door because it takes forever to finally be seen (15-20 minutes on average when I’m there). It’s the closest post office to my house and that’s why I come here. Ps. They won’t tape any boxes for you or create a print out label for addresses. You have to buy your own tape and labels. Seems ridiculous.
